• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    The Vredestein Quatrac 5 tires are asymmetric tires and I believe that everyone who's tried them is very pleased with them. We are very happy with ours at 16 PSI.

    If it's anything at all close to the organization and friendliness of RAGBRAI, it would be first rate and top notch. A buddy and I did RAGBRAI in 1997 and had a blast. We met the friendliest people in the world in Iowa and learned civility still lives. Maybe next year!

    The Vredestein Quatrac 5 is not an ultra high performance tire, it is classed as a grand touring all season tire on Tire Rack. I have them on the front of my Spyder and love them.

    An ultra high performance tire like that is great for folks who live in areas where it doesn't get cold in the winter but for those of us who live in areas with four distinct seasons (a nice way of saying cold), it is problematic.
