• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    New Farkles Completed this week....

I am looking at the Sena unit also...I wanted to install in trunk also..but I am confused. If it has to be plugged into the radio, how did you do that and still install it in the trunk? did you run a cable all the way from the radio to the trunk?? Jonny

    Questions about bump skid install.

car ramps are the way to go. Very stable! make sure you chock the rear wheel. The install was pretty easy. getting the first screw in was a little tricky..could have used one extra hand.

What is the best Bluetooth Headset

We use the g9 and we love them. I have it paired with the garmin and then have my phone paired with the garmin as well. I can make and receive calls, hear spoken directions on the nav and talk with my passenger. It also has a built in radio but I just use the spyder speakers for music.

Best way to add LED's on RT Mirrors without dissassembly of mirror

the triLED mirror LED's do not require that you take apart the mirror....you do have to remove the mirror, however. It was actually VERY easy and only took about 35 minutes to do both mirrors. Simply pop off the mirror...unplug it.... line up LED on top edge of the mirror. drill small hole...

    waiting for a call

Thanks for the info.. I am encouraged that they are truly working on a fix. I don't have heat problems yet but I would like to be assured that they won't happen later. My only hope is that they get to the source of the problem and not try to abate the heat. As said before, the heat will...

    New Farkle today

If you use the primer, the strip does adhere really well. It is really flexible. I would suggest u put the LED's on before you install the bump skid on the bike. Also, install the LED where it is warm so they stay really playable

    New Farkle today

Sorry... Just looked so cool at night. Will take more pics tomorrow.. The LED strip is mounted on the edge of the bump skid plate. I then wired it into the wires coming from the fender lights. I am not real happy with where the wire had to be routed and I might change that to clean it up. I...

    New Alternator on 2014's Review

I have been in the battery business for the last 26 years.. The battery should not need a charge after a ride. As a matter of fact if you plug the battery in for charging all of the time you are damaging the battery by causing sulfation to occur. Just use the charger when the bike is not in...

    New Farkle today

So today I tackled the spyderpops bump skid plate and the tricLED perimeter LED kit for the plate. Was a fairly easy job and pretty straight forward. I love the way she looks now and I am happy to have the protection of the bump skid plate!
