• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is training really needed to ride a Spyder?

I did research before I purchased but I had faith on the experience. I just wish I had known about the fitment issues. I'm furious over that still. But, that is another issue:bdh:

Is training really needed to ride a Spyder?

Rode my Honda Shadow Phantom to the dealership. Waited about 2 hours to sign the paperwork because they were "busy". The sales guy took me out back where I saw my Spyder for the first time (bought sight unseen). He bluetoothed my phone, showed me the gears, brake, etc. and off I went. Rode...

    Leaving key in ignition

Let us also not forget folks that most burglars are not smart enough to know how to actually start these things and get them to go. Steve

    Leaving key in ignition

Not in the ignition but in the glovebox when stored in the garage and not riding.

Is there a new discount code for Pedal Commander?

It is my understanding it is on sale now and the code is PC30. I think it takes it down to 269.99

What's everyone wearing for Riding Jackets?

Fly Racing Street Terra Trek Jacket. I use this when it’s cold. Does an outstanding job. Awesome at blocking wind not that that is much of a deal on the spyder but with my motorcycle it was wonderful. Very warm. I love it. The one I got was discontinued and this is the newer version. Fly...

On my first 2 hour ride today

In Southern Illinois, I rarely get the wave now that I went from two to three wheels. It's the same bikes that I would pass everyday on two....Oh well....

New to my Spyder & it wobbles down the road! Ideas?

New rider. I happens to all of us when we first start riding one. Took be about 300 miles to go from 2 to 3 wheels and ride in a straight line. Like most are saying, don't fight it.

Just scheduled my first oil change

I am an RTFM guy. I agree with you about waiting. But, my question was, should I just wait until Spring which I am inclined to do. Reason is, lots of hard core "you must change BEFORE winter storage" people here. That was the reason for my question. I'm going to wait. With such low miles...

Left side Trim by the mirrors with fitting issues!! Any ideas on a fix??

Thank you. I might just take you up on the call. Several pieces on the front don't appear locked in place. Very frustrating for a 23000 bike. As much as I want to LOVE this machine, I am seriously having buyers remorse and I don't want that. Check these pics out. The trim piece just behind...

Left side Trim by the mirrors with fitting issues!! Any ideas on a fix??

I think you hit the nail on the head. I am so afraid I’m gonna break some thing. I’m just gonna have to take the mirror off so I have more leverage. Thank you for the verification. Steve

Left side Trim by the mirrors with fitting issues!! Any ideas on a fix??

That trim piece does not even snap into place securely. It does not fit properly which I think is related to the other fitment issues. I did have it off I just forgot to include that picture.

Left side Trim by the mirrors with fitting issues!! Any ideas on a fix??

2020 RT. I usually am good to over react to pretty much everything, but, I'm not the most mechanically inclined person out there. My problem is the left side trim by the mirrors. The dash does not meet up correctly to the outer trim. I noticed this a few months ago but ,it looks worse. Any...

Had a bad morning at my local Can Am dealer in NE Florida, just a FYI.

This is exactly what should be posted on this forum IMHO. ANY shop that won't work on a product that is a certain year(s) old should be exposed. We need a place to vet BAD shops! I would call Can Am. sn

    Pre hibernation battery charge/maintainer options

My 2020 RT purchased in February only has about 18 or 1900 miles. I’m going to ride her for another month and then hook her up to the battery tender and let her sit until the spring and then ride her until I hit 3000 and then do first service. But I’ve been using a battery tender for years and...
