• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My art work is the start

VERY offensive I can't believe someone would even consider posting a picture like that. I also can't believe that Lamont has not removed it from the board. I am deeply offended that someone would give that poor inocent dog in the picture that haircut! It looks half naked! Thats...

    Phantom Mods

I did the same trunk light modification to my wife and my Spyder. Only problem is here in Phoenix when it gets hot, the light falls off. Might have to look for a more permanent solution for adhesive. Nive looking :f_spider: BTW.

    To loud

    Tie downs

Warning I have always went through the rim to tie both of our Spyder's down on the trailer but now have noticed wear marks on my custom rims from the strap. I did'nt notice anything on my wife's stock rims but you can see where the strap has rubbed through the finish and created small marks...

    Laughlin River Run

My wife and I were both going to go Thursday-Sunday until my doctor schedule me for surgery to yank out a kidney stone. Tried to postpone until next week but he did not think it was a good idea to be on a bike for that amount of time especially on percocet. I guess we will have to wait for...

    Withdrawal!

I have the same withdrawls. I was lucky enough to be the proud parent of a kidney stone that does not want to come out. The pain comes and goes every couple of hours so riding is not an option unless I try to ride on Percocet which is probably not a good idea. The weather here in Phoenix has...

what is the dumbest question you have been asked

Here are the two dumb ones that stick out recently: "So does that drive like a snow mobile"? Yep, we've been all over Phoenix looking for the snow. and "So thats like a high powered Quad"! Had no response for that one. Just shook my head.

    SPYDER TATTOO

Its actually really easy. Just peel the plastic sheet off the back, wet your arm then apply. I usually put a wet washcloth over it until the front breaks loose then you are set. lol

Need help on purchasing security system, and or wheel locks?

I installed the Scorpio Alarm in both of our Spyders and love them. It has the perimeter sensor which is the main reason we purchased them. With all the interest in the Spyder, it seems to attract people who want to touch and sit on them. When we were in Vegas two weeks ago for bikeFest, the...

    Arizona/California Spyder Ride to Laughlin

My wife and I would love to go with a little more notice. We just got back from Las Vegas BikeFest and have to head to New York on Thursday. Keep us informed if you do this trip again. I know they are having an event in November. Not sure of the dates.

    Getting ready for the cold

I guess I better start getting prepared. Here in Phoenix we will start to have the cold 70's average temperature through the winter. I might have to wear a long sleeve shirt now! lol

ILLINOIS HAS A PROBLEM WITH SYPDER

In Arizona, the man giving me the riding test said that the u-turn rules only stated that I could not put my foot down. I was able to make it in one try but maybe your state does not say anything about using reverse in the middle of your u-turn. Maybe you can preform a three point turn and...

    Retractable Highway Pegs

I wish someone would develop electric retractable highway pegs. A simple in / out switch to make have a highway peg extend out from the black shroud. When not in use, retract them in so all you see is a black circle to match the shroud. Not sure what is behind the plastic but maybe it could...

    Yoshi Oval

Thats what I have on my Spyder and did not even realize it had a baffle that can be removed. Wow, huge sound difference.

    Why do people pull over?

When I ride ahead of my wife and look back in the mirror, her Spyder fog lights give the appearance of "blinking" and appears almost a purple color from a distance. It does have the strange appearance of an emergancy vehicle. I figured it is because her Spyder is a custom pink or magenta...

    Beka's Spyder

Be careful what you wish for! I let my wide ride my Spyder the first week we got it (She had never been on a motorcycle) and the next weekend I was at the dealer forking out the $$ for hers. Now everything I buy for mine has to have a quantity of two! Its like planning for a boy and getting twins.

    BIKE TO BIKE

I permanetly mounted two chatterbox units in the trunks of our Spyders. It works great to communicate between bikes.

    Alarm Question

I installed the Scorpio SR-I900 on both of our Spyders. We went with the Scorpio because of the perimeter sensor and the 2-way pager. With all the attention it attracts plus we saw a guy pushing on the rear shocks, we figured it would be nice to have it warn them to get away and "look" rather...
