• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Harley Trike - With Trike & Bike mode

Seems like a speed sensor input to shift from trike to bike mode wouldn't be that much of a problem. I'd be more concerned with the asymmetrical drive arrangement and the total lack of anywhere to put saddlebags or a tour pak. Solve those and I might have to go back to H-D... reluctantly!

Review: F3L Top Case installed on F3T

Bluntly, what a PITA. Between imprecise instructions that had difficult to read diagrams and left out steps and that blankety-blank yellow threadlocker that Canucks seem to be addicted to, a job that should have taken a couple of hours at most turned into almost a full day odyssey. Had a...

    What to buy???? F3T or F3Limited ????????

Another age-challenged (OK, old) rider here. I bought a leftover 2017 F3T. Just got done installing the factory trunk (ignore the faint screaming, that's just my wallet - and my back) and if I could have done so, I'd have bought an F3L for the trunk if nothing else. Luckily for me, I got the...

    mirror relocators

I was considering removing the mirrors, not the whole housing. I agree, there's nothing to plug the hole if the housings are removed... but there are options if one only removes the mirrors. My thoughts run towards a fitted Kydex sheet, maybe incorporating LED turn indicators slaved to the...

    Nitrogen in Spyder Tires?

Sure, I use nitrogen in all my tires. About 78% of what's filling my tires is nitrogen.

    Show Chrome windshield

I have the Show Chrome windshield on my 2017 F3T. Likes: Wider at the bottom = better wind protection, correct height for me to see over, very little buffeting (my wife hasn't ridden it yet due to shoulder problems/surgery so won't know how the passenger feels about it until the spring) and...

    CanAm Towing system user comments?

I'll have to join the "Don't Do It" dogpile. I can see the same issues as have already been posted.

New to Me 2016 Limited - HELP!

If you haven't ordered your brake connecting rod yet, I have a #3 that I never plan to use again. If you'd like it, and don't mind covering shipping, I'll send it to you. Someone should get some use out of it. Send me a PM if you do.

New to Me 2016 Limited - HELP!

Changing the linkage isn't a huge job. It took me about 20 minutes to do. There isn't any way to adjust the stock parts for that inch or so, unfortunately. The dealer that sold my F3T didn't even know what the U-Fit system was, I had to educate them. With the brake mounted in Position 3, I...

    mirror relocators

I have Lamont's mirror relocators on my 2017 F3T. No problems installing and it's nice to see something other than my elbows. Still thinking about whether I want to remove the stock mirrors and what to do about the hole that's going to be left behind if I do.

    USB port for F3S

If you're looking on Amazon, here's a marine USB from Blue Sea - I've used their electrical parts on motorcycles for decades, it's generally good gear. This one outputs 2.1 amps; that will charge your phone as fast as your home or car chargers.

    Considering Buying an F3

I bought the F3T because the RT hurt me to sit on, never mind ride. The F3 platform is a perfect pain-free fit! So far, I've added the detachable passenger backrest, passenger floorboards, U-Fit #5 brake linkage, my Garmin Zumo 450, trusty old Roady satellite radio, an auxiliary fuse block...

    Electric F3-E concept

I've always wondered if quick-change battery cassettes or hybrids using small, fuel-efficient motors (ceramic turbines, perhaps) whose only function is to drive a generator for battery charging or directly powering the electric drive motors as needed might make a difference. Lacking that, I...

Question about F3 versus RT acceleration

I'd have to say that the difference in center of gravity and seating position makes the comparison pretty tough from a rider's seat point of view. In straightline acceleration I couldn't tell any difference. I feel a lot less outside roll in turns/corners from the F3T than I did the RT which...

Question about F3 versus RT acceleration

I rode an RT before buying the F3T, the seat of my pants couldn't tell the difference in acceleration. I wound up choosing the F3T only because the RT hurt me to sit on (thanks, arthritic hips!).

    Electric F3-E concept

70 mile range at most? Nice for around town... but where I live, useless for any practical purpose, let alone touring. It's a long way between charging stations in my neck of the woods unless you're going down 95 or 93 to Vegas or out along 80, and even then who wants to camp out for hours in...

    The End

Congratulations! I've tried retirement three times, it hasn't taken yet. Cut down to part time this year, maybe in a couple of years I'll try again. In the meantime, make your plans quick, before everyone finds out you "have nothing to do" and fill up your time for you...

Will shaft drive be coming to the 1330?

Having had shaft-driven, chain-driven and belt-driven bikes of various makes and models, I would very much like to see a shaft drive F3. I'd sell my 2017 F3T in a hot second to get one, if for nothing more than to go drifting on a dirt road without worrying what's going to get into the belt and...

    Yesterday I was riding

Went home for lunch yesterday, rode the F3 back to work. There wasn't time to get cold on the short ride back home afterwards... and it was worth it to see the look on people's faces!
