• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Thanks www.spyder4ever.net

Forum SPYDER4EVER I was just reading a post concerning an expensive VCM, and went searching to see what it looked like because I'd never seen one before. Scolling through the Google results, I ran across the French Spyder Forum, and using the automatic translation settings (and what little I...

    RAAF F-111 Belly Landing

F-111's Wow! I had forgotten how large these jets were. I worked "A" models at Mountain Home from 80 to 84. Actually, one of the jets in Blue section had "C" model wings (slightly longer), due to a mishap in Vietnam. This aircraft was not allowed to do any kind of formation flying... As...

three weeks still no purge valve

Help! Let me see if I got this right... A 2013, assuming it still has low miles, needs ball joints, tie rods and tie rod ends? Did I have an ADHD moment while reading the OP, or did a brand new spyder need a front end?? Now, I'm getting wound up! What the :cus: is going on here? The fuse...

United States Warranty Extended Service Protection Corporation

Warranty company Please excuse me for bringing this up: How much is the bike worth, and how much are they going to charge you per month for this warranty? I think there might be a tipping point there. You should also consider how many months and miles you intend on putting on the Spyder. If...

    Low moan coming from Spyder

Low moan Make a careful inspection of your undercarriage, and extricate neighbors chihuahua from around rear sprocket. :p Seriously, mine does pretty often as well. I think it's brake related.

    Some Dzus tips

2 washers per Dzus The washers keep the fastener attached to the panel. This way, they are "captive". This also means (theoretically) that you won't lose them.

    Headlight Modulator

Spend your money replacing the reflectors with LED lighting. If a car decides not to see you, a modulator isn't going to help. As far as voicing your "displeasure", get a Stebel horn; it "rehabilitates" errant (read texting) drivers. All bets are off if you decide to use a strobe light off a...

    GPS - Garmin models?

Zumo 650 I bought one for $300 and it included the powered cradles for BOTH bike and the car. I just switch from one vehicle to the other; after all, I can only drive one at a time :doorag:.

    Some Dzus tips

I used the D-Ring 14mm all the way around, and while I agree about the issues with the rear splashpan, its not a panel that requires unscheduled removal. I ride into D.C. everyday, and haven't had any issues with anyone messing with the bike. The ability to strip the all tupperware in under 2...
