• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Jacking up Ryker for oil change - where's the best jacking points?

I've never used jack stands on the front, so I really cant answer your question on front placement. I've found it easier to just drive it up on a set of Rhino wheel ramps in the front and jack up the rear. I place the jack underneath the rear on the drivers side pivot point on the frame right...

    Tips on Taking Delivery

+1 on the handlebars being straight, they are notorious for them being slightly off. Also if they did it right, the front wheels should be slightly toed in. It will be hard to tell about the handlebars being straight just sitting in the parking lot, pay attention to it when you leave and are...

    LED Auxiliary Lights

No additional wiring was required, the harness provided was large enough for the installation, plus some, even the on/off switch. Also, they plug together with their own male/female connections (plugs), so I would have hated it if I had to splice in for any additional length.

    LED Auxiliary Lights

It really wasnt difficult. The light fixture clamps come with several different thicknesses of rubber inserts for different sizes of tubing mounts for the clamps. Since our A-arms are not round (more oval shaped) I just used two different sizes of rubber inserts for the fit around the A-arm...

    LED Auxiliary Lights

I just made a little metal bracket (home Depot small L bracket) and I drilled a 3/4" hole for the switch, and a 1/4" hole in the other end of the bracket, painted it black and bolted it to the ram mount bracket thats on the handlebar. That bright red light in the bottom photo at the base of the...

    LED Auxiliary Lights

Never been a big fan of modulating headlights, even though they definitely work. I find them annoying, so I figure others do too. I did install a LED brake light strobe. The brake lights are so low to the ground on the Rykers so I added the strobe higher up at the back of the Max mount for...

Sounds too good to be right - gas usage/range

To me anything in the 30's is great mileage for the Rykers. About the best that I'm getting now is an average of about 27 to 28 MPG combination urban/highway riding. I'd be real happy if I could get the 32 that Gkamer is getting. I'm willing to accept my low mileage because the fun factor with...

New Bike Choice of Side Panels

Yes, they give you your choice of solid color panels. They do have other upgraded panels like the Epic panels that you might be able to get them to upgrade at no charge during the negotiations.

    LED Auxiliary Lights

I had round Denali's on my 2014 Triumph Trophy, they are quality long lasting LED's.

Any suggestions on what to use to adjust springs?

This is the one I use to adjust the spring on the rear shock of the Rally. Its a stock spanner wrench and it works best using a 3/8 ratchet, theres not enough space for the larger wrenches. The front shocks are adjustable by hand. I believe I got it at Cycle gear. :Correction: I just looked at...

    LED Auxiliary Lights

I got them on Amazon, they had a lot of great reviews from previous purchasers. They came with both mounting brackets, plug in wiring harness with fuse and relay switch, and lighted on/off switch. You will need to supply zip ties to secure the wiring harness in place. LINK...

    LED Auxiliary Lights

Well it seems that the Rykers suffer as much as bike riders do with not being seen coming down the road by other drivers. I've had several instances lately (especially city driving) with people pulling out in front of me. So I resorted to adding additional auxiliary lights to the front, much the...

    Ryker Accessory Connections

Yes it the interchangeable panels that allows you to change out to different colors. If you remove the left one, you will see a wire lead plugged in. its towards the gas tank. its actually plugged into nothing, its just a holder for that accessory plug. Whats nice about it is that its power is...

    Ryker Accessory Connections

Also has a spare two wire keyed power supply for accessories underneath the left light color panel. I used this to power two USB power ports mounted on the handlebar for my phone & dash cam, GPS and such.

Ryker Range 'Distance to Empty' stopped working??

I've had a lot of machines in my riding life, but the fuel gauge on these Rykers are by far the worst that I have ever seen. With the poor accuracy of these gauges, they'd be better off not having one. The fuel bars on mine shows full until I reach a little less than half a tank or until I'm...

    Looking at a Ryker

Thats pretty normal. The Rykers are very popular and in demand. As long as it remains like that, the dealers have no reason to do mark downs when they are selling like hot cake at msrp. Every now and then Can Am will run a promotion like low financing rates or $600 in free accessories, but thats...

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

Nice, I have the Shad SH23's on my Kawasaki adventure bike, they're 4 years old now and still holding up well. Definitely much more convenient to load from the top as opposed to the side loading and stuff falling out if not secured. I would guess because you carry a passenger, you couldnt raise...

Luggage & rack suggestions for 2020 Ryker Rally?

Other than the Slingmods luggage set, and or the single side case option from BRP, there's not a lot out there specifically for the Rykers yet. If not able to do it yourself, you might want to consider having a bracket or brackets fabricated for your machine at a local welding shop. This will...
