• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Low budget hi viz suggestions for an F3-T suggestions

Very generous. I may have to make a trip to South Carolina. I did read directions for a few of the lights on spyderpops, which assume the installer knows how to remove panels. What I have not done yet is look on Spyderlovers to see if anybody has posted those directions, or look for a YouTube...

Low budget hi viz suggestions for an F3-T suggestions

I liked your idea until I started thinking about how to attach it. Since it attaches to the vent holes of a bicycle helmet, the only solution I thought of and scratched was lots of duct tape. I am open to suggestions on how to attach it that do not involve cutting or puncturing my helmet.

Low budget hi viz suggestions for an F3-T suggestions

Actually something like this should come in at less than $200. http://spyderpops.com/bright-spyclops-led-light-for-all-f3-spyders/

Low budget hi viz suggestions for an F3-T suggestions

Does anybody have suggestions on how to make an F3-T more visible, especially when viewed from side mirrors on cars, with a maximum budget of $200? I prefer things that looks OK, but anything easily removable is fair game. Anything electric would need to be installed by the dealer. Since...

    New spyder owner with questions

I see nobody addressed this question. I would suggest looking at the Lamonster Garage web site and check out a cell phone holder. I bought what I thought was the perfect solution, a cell phone holder from them that replaced the top bracket of my handlebar holder, but I see LaMonster has even...

Does the Spyder have any 'Natural Enemies'?

    Bumpy curves

Also thank you for giving me the words to look up in search. I never thought of "bump steer" in my first attempt.

    Bumpy curves

So you have an idea of what I am up against, except the roads near my house are worse. It is not like wind. Keeping a loose grip is very counterintuitive for me when I am worried about being thrown from the bike, which I have worried about a few times. If I am turning left, leaning left, and...

    Bumpy curves

I bought a 2016 F3-T in October. After 1400 miles I thought I was feeling comfortable on curves until I retried some curves near my house that are bumpy. I still find my weight getting tossed around, screwing up my trajectory and getting me real nervous. I probably rode these curves 40-50...

    RT wheel wrap failure

How do you find a professional that does that? Is that a body shop?

Migration from two-wheel motorcycle to spyder

    1. Easy with constraints. My brain got totally confused between bicycle riding and motorcycle riding, so I gave up motorcycle riding. Though I feel I have a lot to learn despite 1200 miles, at least I am not terrified. But I have a long way to go before I push it in the twisties. 2. I sold...

    LOOKING TO BUY NEED HELP

If my intention was to keep riding I would feel fine. I had a car totaled and my daughter's car stolen, and in both cases the pay out was plenty to replace it.

    LOOKING TO BUY NEED HELP

I'm getting the impression it varies by state. New York sounds different from Oregon.

    LOOKING TO BUY NEED HELP

I think that is a bit unfair. The dealer may not be able to offer it. When I bought my Spyder four months ago, my credit union offered GAP insurance. Though I financed 100% of the purchase price, the dealer never offered it. Seems like a package deal to me where you have to buy it with the...

    LOOKING TO BUY NEED HELP

You may want to go back to the bank. It was suggested to me on my Spyder loan and my last car loan. Be happy your credit is so good the bank they do not require it. Are you sure you want it?

This link doesn't seem to work. http://www.lamonstergarage.com/fuel-cap/ Can you post the correct link or fix it? Thanks. P.S. I love your cell phone holder.

    New seat

I was there with you? I got home two hours after you from having a Russell day long seat made also. I hade mine made with the Sunbrella material. The color looks better in real life; I think compressing the image faded the red. It is actually a mixture of red and black A few comments: 1...

    RT stick or automatic

For me everything has a price. I guessed I would have a lot of fun with a manual (didn't drive one, but assumed it would be like a motorcycle or car), but preferred an SE6. If a manual was an option I decided I would be willing to pay $1500 more for an SE6. I found the SE6 really cool. If...

    RT stick or automatic

I see nobody asked her how good a deal she is getting. Also nobody asked her if she is fairly confident she will keep it for a number of years. I do not like my Altima hybrid but I got such a good deal on it I would buy it again without thinking. I got such a good deal (2 years old, 32000...
