• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Is Remapping Required ?

Dave, Your experience is worthy of note. This is the type of information I was seeking. I'm running the Two Brothers slip on and I do get an occasional pop when shifting. My friend brought up an interesting question...."How will removing the air box effect the extended waranty"? Thanks for...

    Central Florida Power Sports

I couldn't agree more. Last month I drove to Central Florida Powersports to pick up a 622 trailer. The pricing on the new, 2013, trailer was fantastic. The sales, service, and parts department staff were great also. They followed up with me after I got home. It was well worth the trip to be...

    Is Remapping Required ?

Hey Oldfox, Thanks for your perspective on my inquiry. I think I'll give it a shot without the power commander for now. I'm an "old school" street rodder and two wheel rider, this computerized, fuel injection, is difficult for me to comprehend. Today was an excellent riding day here in North...

    Is Remapping Required ?

Thanks Spyderbirds, It's great to know this can be done without the "tuner".

    Is Remapping Required ?

Thanks Chupaca, I can live with popping, my concern would be with running too lean and overheating the engine. We have some differences in our rydes, but still are working with the same base. Thanks Again, Bill

    Is Remapping Required ?

I have heard different opinions on the need for remapping when both a free flow exhaust, and air box elimination is done on the pre 2014 Spyders. I already run the Two Brothers slip on, and want to add JT's air cleaner, which would eliminate the air box. I feel confident someone on the forum...

WHAT DID YOU GET FOR BLACK FRIDAY/CYBER MONDAY?

Very enjoyable experience, got the TricLed 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th tail/brake LED's, amber/red front fender strips, and trailer LED's. We installed the fender lights, 3rd and 4th tail LED's this week, I just received the second order this evening. Thanks Reggie, for the good deals.

    Am I wrong on this?

I would not have been polite in the same situation. I would have likely been arrested for assault. If they would ask, I wouldn't have a problem with letting someone sit on my Spyder, in fact I was at the Harley dealership and one of the salesmen was extremely interested in the Spyder, so I made...

    Lumina trailers

You may want to check with Central Florida Powersports in Kissimmee FL. Last week I bought a new, 2013, 622 trailer for $2,500. I only had the choice of black current. It doesn't look bad behind my Lava Bronze RT. They only have a few left, the only ones I saw were black currant. We drove the...

    STILL RIDING ??

We had our usual Sunday morning breakfast with our little Spyder group. For different reasons, the wife and I were the ones that rode a Spyder. We went on to do a 130 mile ryde. It was a perfect day to be out and about. We'll be doing more tomorrow, as the temps will be in the lower 70's.

Hi soon to be new 2014 st s owner

Welcome to SpyderLovers, and congrats on the purchase. I live in North Carolina and over the past 2 years I have had many occasions to use my heated grips, in fact, I'll probably have them turned on tomorrow for our weekly breakfast ride.

    First ride ever!!

:agree: Honda of Winston Salem is a good dealership. I didn't buy me Spyder from them, but they did my laser alignment and have provided me with various accessories. Very knowledgeable people to deal with.

    Tires and Cold Concrete Floors

Here in central North Carolina, we usually get some opportunities to ride every month. If the temp is above 40F, and there is no mess on the roads, we'll ride. It was different when we lived in Pennsylvania, New York, and Rhode Island. The Spyder is on the battery tender whenever it's not...

    Looking for Bajaron:

Hey Grandpot, I'm about 50 miles north of you. I have had some dealings with Ron, and he is a great person to deal with. Hang in there, he may have gone on vacation. When I go on vacation I'm isolated from the working world. Rest assured, Ron will get back to you, he's just that sort of person.

Don Tilley, Owner Of Tilley Harley-Davidson, Killed In Motorcycle Accident

It is truly sad, The wife and I stopped by both the Statesville and Salisbury dealerships yesterday to offer condolences to Don's family and employees. They still seem to be in shock.

Question for Spyder owners that ride a motorcycle....

I have an 09 Bonneville, I upgraded the suspension with Progressive, front and rear. I'm short so I lowered it 1" in the suspension and 1/2" off the seat. I did the air box removal and a bunch of other mods and farkles. I love the machine, and would be very reluctant to let it go. It is not a...
