• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Spyder ST LTD

For me, yes, f3s way better for the hips. If possible I suggest you test ride with a drivers backrest - somehow this really helps too, all part of the hip-friendly package for me.

    I'M FED UP

Very sorry to hear of your experiences. I have always said that the difference between a magical and a miserable spyder experience is the quality of the Dealer.

    Spyder ST LTD

Yes I had some hip pain on both Rs and st, not too much but some days ..l I can't even sit on an rt without hip going ouch! I must have weird hips... Now I have an f3s which is brilliant for me - I do not have my feet way out in front - just a bit further forward than they were on the st...

Advice and suggestions for curves and Twisties?

Taking the twisties beautifully and smoothly has little to do with sheer speed - not my thing - but getting a bend "just right" at a reasonable clip is a great feeling - whether on two or three wheels.

    Limp Mode 2017 F3S ???

Is the limp home message still there after you've turned it all off and taken the key inside for a while ? Your foot wasn't on the brake pedal accidentally? Agree, check for codes just in case.

BUMMER Winter is on the way Time to Farkel

Spring is sprung downunder, yeah ! Maybe I can tuck the heated vest in the pannier. Heated seat - ummmm, one day ... would be nice...

Advice and suggestions for curves and Twisties?

Yep, all good stuff. Look where you want to go - your body will do the rest Put some weight/strength on the outside leg in a curve, to counteract centrifugal force You really don't have to slide your bum all over the place - your head is the heaviest part of your body - a head and shoulder...

    Seat Interchange Question

Yes. 09 RS seat definitely fits 13 ST - I put my Rs comfort seat on my 13 st for a time, then put ultimate Rs seat on the st. No problems.

Thats it..... !! That's all the 'upgrades' bring!?

I guess brp have two markets - people who already have a spyder, and potential buyers. Seems the main thought here is "they aren't doing enough for us" - the people who already own one. Personally I don't want untested changes just for the sake of change ... Or a brand new model every year -...

    Check is in the mail!

Congratulations Re service, it will be fine mileage-wise to wait until you get it home, if you prefer. But if he could get it done, on your dime presumably, it could be a good idea and a reassurance. Mind you, a service would be a good opportunity for you to get acquainted with your local...

    IT WOULD SEEM....

Beg to differ - the u-beaut gauge cluster with Apps etc is a huge change. And it looks like the rt now has the f3 nose/grill... I could be mistaken, but don't think so. Edit not so, I was mistaken, thanks for the correction

Thats it..... !! That's all the 'upgrades' bring!?

Good one BRP! I was only anticipating a few new colours, so... Cluster gizmo (for all except F3/F3-S) etc looks brilliant - people asked for these mod-cons, and here they are. Project S - to be launched Sept 2018 - under USD $10,000, using Spark - capacity not stated. Well, we (some of us...

What is an entry level Spyder?

There is no entry level spyder as part of the line - just the base model of each style. Yes I wish there was a 650cc plain Jane entry level - in Australia this is the highest capacity allowable for new riders, and would really increase brp market share here. It is my guess that Asian sales...

    Parking brake issues

You could try a new fuse, even if the current one looks ok. Tricky little things... Re your question about clearance sensor to disc - I don't know. Hopefully someone will chime in.

    Parking brake issues

Somebody just posted on Facebook about this - they read their owners manual, pulled out the # 3 fuse, cleaned it up, put it back, problem solved. (Also bought more fuses and a fuse puller) Just passing it on ...
