• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Top Ten Reasons Why Harley Riders Don’t Wave Back.

Love it, well said... Personally, I use our nod of the head - have done for decades, whatever I was riding - subtle acknowledgement of another rider. The finger pointing to the road doesn't work here cos we ride on the other side of the road - and there's just no way we're letting go of the...

    New purchase input

:agree: Though I've seen riders really pushing their RT and having heaps of fun too... We love our f3s - even though we are retired ;) - but have one each, so pillion comfort etc is not an issue for us. Take a long test ride or three - with your passenger - then you'll know which is right for...

    First time 2-up

Don't listen to either of them lol - only an f3 rider will understand! (Leaning inside/outside foot weighting is great, but first fix the bottoming out shock) You are spot on - the stock rear f3s Shock is rubbish- I am not big, ride one up, and have replaced with brp two up shock. Husband is...

    Which hitch for the F3

Nice hitch from traileretc- and less dollars than the Australian option. And looks like wiring bit is also available too. Yes black pig, I have the shad bags on too. No issues. Will find some pics. But if swing arm mount is OK by you, the traileretc option is worth a look?

    Which hitch for the F3

It is not a swing mounted towbar- we cannot buy brp trailers in Australia. It is frame mounted. Many debates on the various pros and cons, but we have towed with all our spyders with this frame mounted bar very happily and safely, without shaking our trailers to bits on our roads. Here is a...

For anyone reading this who actually wants to alleviate the perils of hydroplaning - From my experience with it on my first day of spyder ownership on a few hundred k's ride to get it home through Melbourne on footy grand final day, got caught in a huge rain dump - turned to astonishment that...

    June 6th, 1944

D-day Hugely symbolic for all the Allies who fought Until then, after Dunkirk, England had been in dread of Nazi armies crossing the English Channel and invading England ... add in the Blitz and constant bombings, and a huge cheer went up from those living in the uk and all who were fighting...

Good news WE can all appreciate

Not buying into job stats, just want to point out that any successful civilisation requires that some people are freed from hunter-gatherer tasks so that they can turn their minds to thinking about things such as better ways to do things, how to make a fairer society, and so on. Please don't...

    "Restrooms are for customers only"

Hmm The legal precedent could be that any service can be refused at any time if it upsets any service-provider's religious sensibilities. Slippery slope stuff indeed. Note that the service-provider can be of ANY religion, not just the most common ones. Wonder if those lauding this decision would...
