• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    My Ryker Rally Adventure Thread

So I've completed my left heel support for my prosthetic leg. It fits right over the Rally peg and bolted straight back onto the bike. I wanted to keep the rally pegs arch support for better standing stability and couldn't find anything on the market...plus I only need one. I have an almost...

2022 Ryker only 3k miles - transmission blown - Help?!

Whomever is working on your machine hasn't been able to diagnose the failure....that much is clear. Can Am would be my next port of call. It's either a very technical problem that is beyond the service tech's ability or plain incompetence. In either case fresh eyes are warranted. Sorry you're...

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

Hi Bruce I've also been off a bike for a couple of years. Picked up my new Rally a couple of weeks ago and was grinning like a loon under my helmet riding it home. To keep on topic: I just got a Cardo Spirit HD comms for riding on the Rally, I'll be able to hear my GPS now, so no excuses for...

How many Accessory Power Harnesses are on the 2022 Rally?

So for future reference: I have downloaded the workshop manual and discovered the following from the Wiring Diagram. Fuse F3 ACC/USB located in the fuse box connects to the USB Port and 2 Accessory ports. Interestingly the Owners manual states this is a 5amp Fuse. The workshop manual Wiring...

They said next Thursday as they're still waiting on the accessories to arrive. Then it's a 6hr round trip to pick it up with a car trailer. Will be a month or two before I'm fit enough for a short ride, then I'm having more surgery to fit my new leg. I'm picking October before any real...

How many Accessory Power Harnesses are on the 2022 Rally?

I understand there is an auxiliary 12v power harness under the left side fairing on the 2022 Rally. My question is, how many are there, just the one or are there more? Also does anyone know where it is fused i.e is there a fuse for it on the fuse box? The only one I could spot on the owners...

There's two plugs? Do you know if they are fused to the fuse box? or did you add your own fuses into the circuit? I added a separate fuse box on my tiger for accessories which was very handy. Also meant I didn't need to screw with the stock wiring.

F3 is the USB/ACC 5amp fuse. Without being able to test it until I get the Rally, I'd need the wiring diagram to see where the 12v ACC plug is fused. I imagine the USB fuse would be a seperate circuit/ fuse?

Hey Sarah, you mentioned about fitting a BajaRon sway bar thingy? When you talked about squirrely was that before or after you fitted the taller front shocks? I would think the 22's ability to stiffen the dampening might help with that? will see I guess....

    My Ryker Rally Adventure Thread

I've been servicing my bikes ever since I've been riding...over 40yrs...so not too concerned about wrenching on the Rally. I see the workshop manual is around $24 USD to download so will be doing that at some point. My immediate head scratcher is connecting to the 12V ACC connector under the...

    My Ryker Rally Adventure Thread

Hi all, well I'm progressing with my prospective Ryker purchase. But I have another question: Has anyone fitted Barkbuster Hand guards to their bike? I'm not much of a fan of the stock Ryker hand guards and the additional $190.00 odd dollars for the plastic wind protectors is a bit over the...

    Wheels falling off?

Wondering who pays the repair bill? As it's not the result of an accident I doubt your insurance would cover it? (they usually exclude mechanical breakdown unless you have a specific exemption)

    Wheels falling off?

there are two recalls for 2020's and 0ne for 2019 Rykers for wheel nuts incorrectly torqued and cracking on Can-ams website: https://can-am.brp.com/on-road/nz/en/owner-zone/safety-recalls.html I'll be checking they have been done on any affected bike I buy.

Hi Sarah, thank you for putting me on to this forum and your other sagely tips and advice. You're a legend! I may quite possibly end up following your lead and adapt an older model to suit my style. The local Can am dealer is also the KTM dealer for our area so I've known him for ages, I'm...

    My Ryker Rally Adventure Thread

Thanks for the insights. To the uninitiated....the ground clearance of the radiator is a tad concerning. Just not used to taking any bike with less than 10" of clearance where there's pot holes....even on gravel.....so front end/ sump protection is up there to get sorted. Even the 22 Rally...
