• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What do you think of the 'New for 2025 - Spyder Canyon'?

The added height and bigger wheels are what you want off road. I could care less about a speaker system, I have a Cardo headset which works well enough. The deal breaker for me is the belt drive and no front wheel drive... as you pointed out, with all that weight on the front, the rear wheel...

Any decent Ryker windshields, cheaper but worth buying? Recommendations please?

I have a Ryker Adventure windscreen and find it works very well. It is height adjustable which is handy for my 6'2" frame. Easy to lower if you want some wind in your helmet during hot days but you can lift it up high for rain and cold days. It isn't the cheapest though.

What do you think of the 'New for 2025 - Spyder Canyon'?

This is either a really good roll out building customer expectation to nuclear level or the worst press release of a new model since the Yamaha T7!

Has anyone ever tried to raise the front end of their Rally? It already has the inch longer shocks, maybe a spacer of some sort? Asking for a friend....

Ryker throttle grip pulled out - does it snap back in? Or how does it go back??

I'm a little unsure of the exact problem, but if the throttle grip has come out of the housing, you will need to unscrew the 3 retaining screws to refit it. I have attached a picture of the inner workings if that helps. Take it slow, it's a fairly simple setup, so you should easily get it back...

Has anyone seen or have info on this electric Ryker shifter mod?

Try putting a thin flat kitchen knife into the gap, then put a bolt into the threaded side, and do it up so that it forces the gap open. You shouldn't need too much pressure to prise it open enough. The gap should remain wide enough when you remove the bolt to fit it over the spine easily. Small...

What do you think of the 'New for 2025 - Spyder Canyon'?

Does the Canyon take the cake for the worst Can Am press release? They release some video, then stoney silence? Has anyone even ridden one yet?

Made some modifications to by reverse lever. Relocated the front mount from the end to the middle of the shifter and shortened the lever height. All to make it easier to get to the park brake. Original lever Modified

...some of the people some of the time, all of the people none of the time :joke: I do take your point but the sound quality on both of my gopro's isn't at all high enough quality to hear the things you mentioned clear enough. Although I have placed wind socks over the mics wind noise is a...

Thoughts on upgrading from 2021 Rally to 2023 Rally - worth it?

It all depends on where you ride it. The 2022+ Rally's are far better gravel road machines than the previous editions out of the box. If you only/mainly do sealed roads, then the '21 would be my choice... although I would fit Cruise Control to it.

Cheers Sarah... so many recalls!! Hadn't heard of that one, will check it out EDIT: Yip it's in the recall, requires adjustment plus a new spring. I will get on to my dealer next week. Hopefully they will agree to just send me the spring as they are 3hrs away. Cheers for that, you would think...

    My Ryker Rally Adventure Thread

Had a problem today where the cruise control would not engage. When I got home, I noticed the rear brake light wouldn't turn off. I had to do an engine restart and then depress the brake pedal hard before it would turn off. The brakes weren't on, so I'm wondering if there is a wonky sensor...

Anyone here like planning their own routes?

Any mapping software requires you to input waypoints if you want to take a specific route. Other than options like avoid highways or paved roads (which still allow fairly broad route choices) you have to spend some time waypointing if you want a personalised route. I use Garmin Basecamp for...
