• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Phoenix from the fire

I would call your insurance company about the wrong color and have them make it right. There were 2 different light blues for F3. 2018-2019 used an oxford blue. The other one on the base models were a lighter blue. Not sure of the name of color. You mentioned Allstate. They have a guarantee to...

F4 Windshield - need honest opinions re shorter height screen reducing buffetting?

I look thru my 25" F4 windshield. At 5'9" 30" inseam. About 2" below the top no wind noise. If I sit on a pillow to raise me so I see over the top. I get wind noise. Not hard buffeting but more noise. The windshield is so clear I don't mind looking through it. If I get to warm I open my vent and...

F4 Windshield - need honest opinions re shorter height screen reducing buffetting?

Lower would be even noisier. Do you have the hand wings F4 makes for your windshield. They stopped the wind buffeting from coming by the cut out area for me. Plus keeps hands warm in cold weather and cooler in summer.

Hand grips - anyone found longer a/mkt grips for an F3?

If you dont need or have heated grips. Just put regular kuryakyn iso grips on. They are longer than stock.

    Whoever designed ------

That is one thing i like about the F3 models. Only have to remove service cover lid. 2 seconds. Than the 4 torque screws on the filter lid and there's the filter. The whole job was less than 10 minutes.

    New design Kenda front tires

I have had the Federal Formoza AZ01on both my 15 RTS and now my 18 F3L. They handle great wet and dry and I push them to the point that I tick off the nanny. Never had them break loose and they ride very smoothly on straight and curves. Great tire for the price.

Question from Don Frank at F4 Customs about steering

My 15 RTS turned hard sitting still. Had to start moving to get ps. The F3's all steer easy at idle. It wasn't till late 2017 they put the new dps in the RT's. Unless it turns hard while moving. Probably normal. Make sure battery terminals are tight. Even slightly loose. The dps wont work right.

Cruise Control speeds up or slows down after setting? Anyone else?

I think it's normal. If you both set the cruise control, you will never stay the same speed no matter what bike you have. I will follow my friends RT on the interstate or he follows me. The one it back will always be adjusting the cruise up and down.

Belt tensioner position, which is correct, top or bottom?

Picture? Part number? Also, does it fit the BRP tensioner arm?

Belt tensioner position, which is correct, top or bottom?

I've had a bottom one and top one. Top works better. I think a solid idler pully would work better like you see on automotive drive fan belts. With large heavy duty bearings. One on top and bottom. That would act as if the belt was half the size. Bet there wouldn't be any vibes at all.

Tranny Slipping? Or is it just the oil?

You have to remove the oil sending unit that is on the engine and install a pressure gauge. Than you can see what the pressure is while riding and see if there is any loss in pressure at all rpms.
