• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

NGK CR8EB plug gap not always right!

You should always check the gap with a gauge as well as center the ground electrode over the center electrode. Any little bump to the ground electrode can throw the gap off.

RECALL - ALL 2019 and 2020 Ryker Models - Wheel Nuts

When it was built doesn't matter its the designation of the model year. For example 2020 Rykers will have an L as the 10th digit but are being delivered in 2019

    Not a gripe, just saying...

I always use my Credit Union for vehicles and have the financing arranged before I even go shopping. Dealer financing is always a bad idea. And on a side note, the market is flooded with used Harley's, no one wants them.

    Tire Pressure?

Tire threads are like oil threads, everyone has their own opinion.

    Winter Ryker

Always change the oil for storage and then it's ready for spring

    Checking final drive

I would not recommend the ball end t-handle allen wrenches. The ball end doesn't set flush in the bolt head and will round off if you aren't careful. Best to use socket allen on an extension with ratchet.

    Tire Pressure?

Open the right side cover where the CVT Filter is and read the sticker

Apparently Not All Rykers Have Defective Wheel Nuts

I wouldn't worry about riding it. There are only 7 documented cases out of almost 7,000 vehicles. I think your odds are pretty good they wont fail.

RECALL - ALL 2019 and 2020 Ryker Models - Wheel Nuts

No snow machine sales down here but a lot of ATV sales. It would take a whopping 15 minutes to change all 3 and torque

RECALL - ALL 2019 and 2020 Ryker Models - Wheel Nuts

That is a little concerning isn't it? Seems BRP needs to get these parts back and melted back down ASAP.

RECALL - ALL 2019 and 2020 Ryker Models - Wheel Nuts

I'm guessing you can't buy the old style at this time either, hopefully.

2020 Ryker Rally: Suspension Adjustment - How? Where? What with? What settings?

The measurement they refer to is from the snap ring to the 1st lock ring. You really need a spanner wrench to do the adjustment. 2 spanner wrenches makes it easier.

RECALL - ALL 2019 and 2020 Ryker Models - Wheel Nuts

That is not correct. The month of manufacture is not in the VIN.

RECALL - ALL 2019 and 2020 Ryker Models - Wheel Nuts

The 10th digit is in fact the model year but has nothing to do with the month of manufacture

RECALL - ALL 2019 and 2020 Ryker Models - Wheel Nuts

Do they heat treat aluminum? Never mind, yes they do

RECALL - ALL 2019 and 2020 Ryker Models - Wheel Nuts

I like the "No Injuries have been reported" statement. I certainly hope they fix all the vehicles on the road first before units in inventory.

    Ryker Recall/Stop Sale

No recalls issued yet on my 2019 Rally per the CanAm website

    Theories on CRACKED wheel nuts

I have learned being in Telecommunications for over 40 years to think simple first. That usually saves me a lot of time. Particularly who touched the machine last. So with that being said I suspect it is nothing more than incompetent personnel.

    Ryker wheel nut grease?

I have no issue getting the nut to 221 ft. lbs with my torque wrench and yes grease or any lubricant is a bad idea
