• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Advice and suggestions for curves and Twisties?

Arnie, your Spyder looks familiar. Were you by chance following a black Spyder on Rte 15 S heading towards Purcelville on Sunday?

    Brake light wires?

Hi folks! So I'm trying to add a brake light on my F3-T. The wires AFTER the harness into the tail light assembly are Black, Brown, Yellow, Orange and White. Yellow (and spliced black) go to the turn signal. Could someone please tell me what the red wire on my brake light assembly goes to...

Advice and suggestions for curves and Twisties?

Yes. I've heard of it. It's actually not that close for me. (About 9 hours away). I did take a trip to Skyline Drive this weekend (about 1.5 hours away) and rode about a quarter of the way through before turning around. Very enjoyable ride and intend on doing the entire road probably this...

    Had my first hater today

Whoa. This was blown way out of proportion. I would have never posted had the guy simply gave me a thumbs down and then I flipped him the bird and that was that. I posted because I thought it was funny that he responded with the, "huh? What was that for", as if he could dish it out but could...

    Had my first hater today

You are 100* right. I am not going to lose sleep over it. What did strike me odd was his reaction to me flipping him the bird.

    Had my first hater today

What kind of "rule" is that? The guys gives me a thumbs down and I'm supposed to just take it on the chin?

    Had my first hater today

Was driving down the road and a guy on a crotch rocket coming the other way was shaking his thumb down at me. So, I flip him the bird. Then he gives me the "huh? What was that for?" Shoulder shrug, like he was surprised that I gave him the bird. I dunno...maybe thumbs down means thumbs up...

Filling gas to the rim or?

On my truck, I almost always fill it to the rim, and when I do, its filled and there isn't much "settling" of the gas. When I do it with the Spyder, there seems to be an usual amount of "settling" and it seems that it might not be the right thing to do. I know you're usually not supposed to...

Filling gas to the rim or?

Hi folks! When filling up your gas, do you stop at the pump shut-off or do you fill it to the rim? (Well, not quite the rim because closing the gas cap will cause overfill, but you know what I mean). When filling up the gas comes up to the rim and then bubbles/settles down into the tank. It...

    Don't judge

Huh? What did I say? My reply was in no way meant to insult, troll, or knot my panties and I apologize if you took it that way. I am not saying I am bullet proof and the older I get, the more I realize that and the more that I am thankful that I am able bodied. Perhaps this was the wrong...

    Don't judge

Sorry, but I don't know why you need a medical or age reason to ride a Spyder. I am 49 years old and thankfully do not suffer from any ailments that would keep me from riding 2 wheels. I choose to ride a Spyder because it is unique. For the most part, a Harley is a Harley is a Harley. A sport...

Advice and suggestions for curves and Twisties?

Thanks. I already do this (not much different than driving a car). I guess the way they were putting so much emphasis on "looking where you want to go" kinda had me thinking I was doing something wrong, but I suppose I was doing it right all along. Thanks for the other replies as well!

Advice and suggestions for curves and Twisties?

I've had my Spyder for about two weeks and have put about 600 miles on it. I've had "some" experience on two wheels, and can ride if need be, but the experience is minimal. I agree that my comfort level will increase with time and experience and no two riders and environments are alike, but I...

Advice and suggestions for curves and Twisties?

Thanks for the replies, guys. I did take the Apex course last weekend, but learning curves on a closed course at 15-20 MPH is quite different than real world curves at higher speeds. We were taught to shift our weight on the inside of the curve and roll the throttle out of the curve, but...

Advice and suggestions for curves and Twisties?

Hi folks! I've been enjoying the hell out of my F3-T. However, I am still pretty apprehensive to see what it can do on the curves and Twisties and take them rather slowly. I realize the "Nanny" mode would kick in to prevent a disaster and every circumstance is different but was hoping you...

    New Spyder from Virginia!

Hi folks! I am a proud new owner of a '17 F3-t! It was quite an impulse purchase, going from no interest in riding anything that has less than four wheels to buying the Spyder in a matter of less than two weeks, and what a great decision it was! I am having a blast! The only downfall so far...
