• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Considering Purchase

Where in NY? I'm originally from NY, but now live in VA. NY may different, but here in VA, if you only have a 2w endorsement, you cannot legally ride 3w, and vice versa. An M endorsement allows you to ride both. I'm not sure if NY is the same, but I'd check if I were you

    Reliable Dealer in Virginia

I really do not trust that ANY service department or service station fully and faithfully performs every service on anything. It doesn't matter where you go, unless you watch over them, can you really trust that everything is performed as it should? One really doesn't have the choice other than...

    Spyder won't start? Try this.

After a couple hour ride today, I came home, and a couple hours later, I went to start my Spyder again. I Turned the key on, safety warning came up and parking brake light came on as usual. Pushed the mode button and pressed the start button. Nothing. Pushed the parking brake button...

    Reliable Dealer in Virginia

I bought my Spyder from Motomember in Leesburg and have had a good experience with them. Purchase price was on par with other dealers around and service costs were less than what I've seen on here. (3000 mile service was $191.00 including filter, shop supplies, and Hazmat fee, BajaRon sway bar...

    cell phone mounts

I have this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XZTJ6KL?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf I highly recommend it. For $9.95, it cannot be beat. It comes with a rubber strap (the red thing in the picture) for extra security, but I don't even use that. Place your phone on it and it stays, and simply pull it off when...

    Black Friday ryde

Yep. That was me. I kinda had the feeling that was you.

    Black Friday ryde

While the rest of the country was braving the crazy traffic and even crazier crowds, I was out riding my Spyder. Here is a 360 video of some of the ryde. For those of you who don't know, you can move the video around for a 360 point of view. https://youtu.be/say2P0LCNPo

27mph winds. Gusts to 41mph. Would you ride?

Took her out for a nice ride. My body was being pushed this way and that way, but the Spyder didn't even wince.

27mph winds. Gusts to 41mph. Would you ride?

It's such a nice day, except for those damn winds! Would you go out and fight those winds or save the riding for another day?

Looks like we all bought the wrong thing

I think you folks missed my point in posting. See what it says? "The most fun you can have on three wheels". I don't know about you guys, but to me, the Spyder would be pretty hard to beat in the fun on three wheels contest. Then again, I've never rode a Ural.

Looks like we all bought the wrong thing

Well, according to Cycle World and Ural, that is. :roflblack:

Requesting advice on buying out of state

Frankly, unless the prices on these are considerably lower than what you could find (relatively) local, I would stay local. 1. Whatever money you might save is going to be spent on flying out to these locations. Even if you still ended up having some money, is that amount saved really worth...

    Belt Stabilizer

Has anyone had both the BRP one and Doc's one to compare the two? Setting aside the quality issues that several people have had with the BRP one, is the desired result the same, or does Doc's work better at eliminating the vibrations?

    2018 Yamaha Nikon three wheeler

Having stability with the Spyder is great, but that isn't the main reason I bought one. I bought one because it is different. There is something alluring to the Spyder and it catches the eye of almost everyone, whether they like it or not. In my opinion, it is one of the coolest looking...

Another happy BajaRon sway bar and laser alignment customer!

I asked the dealer if the F3-T really needed the sway bar and he told me it wouldn't make as much of a difference as it would on other models, but it would still make a difference. I probably could have been fine with just the laser alignment regarding the improvement in handling, but probably...

Another happy BajaRon sway bar and laser alignment customer!

I brought my F3t in on Saturday for it's 3000 mile service and had the dealer install the BajaRon SB and do a laser alignment. It had been raining since I picked it up but the rain had stopped early Sunday evening and the roads were drying up so I decided to go for a short ryde. I wasn't able...

Newbie question: 2008 for starter spyder?

Here's my suggestion:. Do not buy an '08. In fact, do not buy any Spyder from '08-2018...or any one in future years. Why? Because it will take over your life! You will like it so much that you'll never going to want to be home and your other toys will be neglected and become very expensive...

    Close calls?

Perhaps we can have a thread on any of our close calls that we may have had while riding our Spyders. Maybe knowing others' experiences may help others to possibly anticipate and avoid a potential tragedy. Today was my first one. Was riding down a 2 lane road that had an oncoming right lane...

I took a gamble with the BRP belt tensioner...and I lost

Received the BRP belt tensioner on Tuesday. Installed it on Wednesday. It's starting to fail already today, Sunday. I usually give the benefit of the doubt instead of necessarily always trusting what someone else might say, but I should have listened to the comments you guys were saying about...
