• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Spyderfest 2012?

:agree: Ryding was cold and wet coming down from Iowa, but nice going home, so I can't complain too much. The MO weather was

    Spyder Web in Iowa

That's a good list! You hit all the ones I was thinking of... except maybe a stop by John's Ice Cream in Tiffin! Thanks for starting this one Jim! This'll be fun!

BRP Owners Event and Lamonster BBQ Signup

Is registration closed? I go to the www.can-amVIP.com site and it shows the itinerary, but doesn't allow me to go to the registration page. :dontknow: I wasn't going to be able to attend, but now there is a good possibility I can, so I thought I'd register just in case. Any ideas? Thanks for...

    RS rear fender brackets

What's causing this? Does the frame twist that much to crack the rear fender supports?

    Head light protector

Thanks Firefly, that's it. I couldn't remember his ID for the life of me. Super nice guy... has his seat made out of snake skin. At the time he was trying to get the front fog lamp to turn with the handlebars. Not sure if he ever got it to or not. :dontknow:

    Head light protector

Something like this? I can't remember this fellow's name, but he had a really nice Spyder with light covers at the Chicago owners event. Maybe someone recognizes him and can ask? (He's in the picture with the Spyder).

    New to site

:agree: You definitely want knowledgeable techs to work with! Spyder is a complicated vehicle, and it's almost too smart for it's own good!

    Oil pressure sensor

Darn!! I should have asked you about it when we spoke multiple times on the golf course... that's when it really started to act up. Thanks Firefly, I really appreciate the offer! How much are those sensors anyway? Maybe I should start a "roadside hazzard" kit too!

    Oil pressure sensor

At Spyderfest my oil pressure sensor started acting up causing a check engine light to come on and the bike to go into limp mode. :sour: Cowtown didn't have the part but were SUPER helpful with a couple of BUDS updates I needed. They told me swapping out the sensor isn't hard if they had one...

    Made it Home safe

Home safe and sound... besides a temperamental oil pressure sensor which will hopefully be replaced this week! Before that happens though, I'll be scraping almost 300 miles of Missouri bugs off the front end! :yikes: Big thanks to Cowtown and the MoGang for arranging such a great event, I...

    Who won what?

I'm sorry to hear about Teddy, I hope he is going to be okay! Surgery sounds pretty serious, what happened? It was great to finally meet you in person, and thanks for showing us the "Spyderfest Eddition" RT you picked up, that was awesome! I hope Teddy is back on all four paws soon...

    Who won what?

Home early too A sick 2yr old (birthday is today!) and a bad oil pressure sensor sent me home early too. A big thanks to Kevin at Cowtown who helped diagnose my Spyders issue. He felt really bad that he didn't have any more sensors in stock, but I got home safe and sound and will contact the...

New for 2011 NEW! Tri & Stop Me (Can-Am Spyder RS) HW 1/64 Diecast

I'm really surprised that there hasn't been a Spyder Hot Wheel/Matchbox yet. The "Tri and Stop Me" is neat, but not a Spyder. (Of course I still ended up buying one!) :shemademe_smilie:
