• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    ISO grips

I have just installed a set of ISO Grips part number 6183 (GL 1800 Heated Grips) over my RT grips. There is a bit of fiddling around but they work really well. You have to remove the end bar thingies and trim the rubber lip around the end of the grips on the bike. Replace the screw from the end...

RT Spyder at 2010 Moto GP Phillip Island (Austarlia)

Apparently there was a competion with BRP Australia to ride on the back with Wayne Gardner around the track. Gardner didn't have a clue how to ride the RT and made it look ridiculous and unstable. He was trying to ride it on two wheels all the time. People standing near me at the track were...

    Well it had to happen

While riding to Canberra with two other Spyders (1RT and 1RS) my RT decided to have a DPS failure. What an experience that is. The steering pulls to the right and then lets go and of to the left goes the Spyder. I rode like that for 100 Ks until we got to the dealer.:gaah: My Spyder will now be...

    Trailering with cover?

I trailered my RT-S from the East Coast to the West Coast of Australia and back (7000+Klms) with the custom cover on. The only rubbing was on the glove box which polished out. You do have to make sure it is nice and tight. The cover is well made and no rain got in. I will be using it again on my...

Help understanding traction and stability control

Mine kicks in when I lift a wheel going round a round-a-bout or a tight hairpin. Feels funny when it first happens. Also had it happen on loose road surface. I'd get it checked out by your dealer as it may not be working.(Some would pay big money for theirs not to work):roflblack:

It works I tried connecting a small (matchbox size) amp to the "mic in" cable that is part of the GPS loom but to no avail. It made no difference to the volume. GPS sounds through headset?

The harness on the Zumo 660 should be long enough to run from the top of the dash to the plug at the rear. I have the slack tucked into the space where the seat latch is. Feeding the cable down through the steering is easy. Poke it down and hook it out from the side. You will need a touch to see...
