• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Kelly blue book value

Thanks for all the info everyone. I wasn't really looking to sell it anytime soon I was just starting to consider the idea that's all. At least I know now what lies ahead if I choose to sell.

    Kelly blue book value

:roflblack: Ouch! I'm not "drinking the kool aid" yet, but I definitely want to ride one. It doesn't interest you at all? I admit it does look different, however I think the silver F3S with the red trim is nice. But my :spyder2: is running and handling very well and cool now and the depreciation...

    Kelly blue book value

With the new F3 coming out I was interested in seeing what my STS-SE5 might get me in a trade in or selling outright. KBB didn't list SE5, but for the STS-SM5 it said I would get a "whopping" $10,900. Now add back the SE5 and I have to think that would be at least $13,000. Selling outright was a...

    Slingshot sighting

I'm sure it's a fun ride but it doesn't have the appeal that the Spyder did for me when I first saw one.

New Airflow panels for 2013 ST-S

Fantastic! Hey, there's a Grand you can spend on something else for your ..... :spyder2:;)

New Airflow panels for 2013 ST-S

I installed my panels also but I did order through my dealer and like I said, only weeks before the $h!+ hit the fan. I waited as long as I did because I was hoping BRP would offer them in the 2013 colors, Magnesium in particular. When Lamont posted the part numbers for my color is when I pulled...

New Airflow panels for 2013 ST-S

I just remembered you mentioning a bulletin before. Actually it was a lot of your informative posts that propelled me to follow up and get-r-done!

New Airflow panels for 2013 ST-S

That sounds uninformed on their part or there has been a policy change because I did the same thing. I bought them before the bulletin was released regarding BRP replacing them . ( it was only a couple of weeks before though but technically they hadn't announced anything yet ) After I heard...

    Comfort seat

Ultimate Seats told me that they will have a "tall boy" seat for the ST in a few weeks that seats the driver 2" rearward. Their seats seem to be reasonably priced so in a few weeks I'll contact them and hope this new seat is in line pricing wise with their current offerings. I may have to "pull...

    JT's air filter

Thanks for the invite! I'm afraid though that once I got down there you would listen and say, "I don't hear a thing", and then my OCD would be revealed. I'm trying to keep that a secret.:roflblack:

    JT's air filter

Thanks all! Your input helped. I pulled the mirror and panels and I got to the filter and checked everything and found nothing that was an obvious air leak. I tightened a couple screws on the throttle body adapter a little just because I could. I don't think that had anything to do with it. All...

    JT's air filter

After taking another look at the mirror and panel I mentioned, the panel is actually cut out where the mirror sits. So the mirror might not have to come off. Although if it does need to come off, I didn't see the 2 spring clips you mentioned. Do I have to disassemble the mirror somewhat to see them?

    JT's air filter

Sounds like you have an RT, I have an ST, no glove box. The panel I'm talking about, the mirror sits over it. Does the mirror screw off or just pull off? Seems like I saw someone just pull the mirror off in video once.

    JT's air filter

Thanks, all good points. Beside the main body panel that allows access does the panel right above next to the dash need to be removed also to get the best access to the filter and adapter?

    JT's air filter

All in all I'm happy with my new JT filter. The Tupperware is WAY cooler than with the stock filter/box. The area near my foot on the left side gets only warm now not hot. As far as sound, I like the new lower rumbling revving tone. I do however have a slight whistling/squealing like sound, kind...

    Comfort seat

I didn't know about Airhawk. I went to their site. I thought they made Spyder seats. It appears they just make Seat Cushions. That would only be as a last resort. Is there a way to put the seat cushion inside under the seat skin? That might work.

    Comfort seat

Yea, a picture would be great because the picture Coz showes up a couple of post looks like my STS seat and I'm a little confused or maybe blind.
