• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can You Get More Than 5 Years Total Warranty On A Spyder

I contacted the link above. When you ask for a quote, you get an enthusiastic sales person, not an internet quote. There are three levels of coverage. The least expensive is $1,400 for 5 years. Didn't get to read what the exclusions are.

    Riding in the Rain

Today I was caught in the rain and rode 85 miles in the wet stuff. Couple of clear spaces maybe 5 miles but otherwise, rain, some heavy some light. I had rain gear but despite paying good money for, most likely, close to the best, I got wet. I know I need water proof gloves but which at a...

    Oh no, another trailer question!

I'd suggest a 6 1/2 x 12. The extra bit makes a difference. I have a 6 x 12 enclosed cargo trailer and my 14 RT won't fit. I've rolled the bike up the ramp but it was too tight. You could also remove the fenders but that's a bit extreme.

2019 limited rt no stable ride on interstate.

I have done so before and will again, take the Motorcycle Safety Foundation course. Taught me just one thing that solved everything. You'll like the course and have a great weekend with fellow bikers.

    Time Is Running Out

If you can, go for a long ryde this week. In Helena Montana, it is snowing (Sunday). How far until snow or too cold even without snow at your house. Me, I'm going on a very long ryde this week. Good luck and have a good trip. Just sayin'

    Cramped seating for driver?

Ultiumate makes a seat that is 1 1/2" longer/butt setback. I actually ordered that and had to return it. It sat me back too far. I'm 5'8" with 27 inch inseam. But for MY thinking, Ultimate makes a really good seat. Who makes the 'best?' Only your butt knows.

Where can I see and touch a new 2020 rt limited

As I recall, at the Homecoming, the tour of the assembley line showed they produce snowmobiles in the Summer and Spyders in the Winter so most likely they are waiting to re-start the Spyder assembley line.

    Cat delete for 2019 RTL

If the RLX exhaust pipe is also a muffler, what pipe goes from it the the rear? Is this the only thing in the exhaust train or is this just like other cat delete pipes which connects to the muffler?

    Tricled rear lights

Battery Info I bought a battery that was not up to running my 14 RT from Batteries+. Started looking for the Yuasa YTX24 HL-BS a member advised. The local Honda dealer said he could special order one for $196. The Shreveport Can Am dealer said all he knew was a part number but would not take...

Cycle World article on 2020 RT

While the bike has some good design changes, I'd expect (but don know for sure) that is has all of the inherent weakness of previous models. You'll have to replace the tires, shocks and anti-swaybar to help handling, then add all of the things, farkles, you've added to the one you already...

Brake Diving and flash update Update

My complaint was the bike nudging ( sort of like diving only not as severe) to the left when braking. I just had the brakes replaced last week. One pad was worn more than the others (long story short, I didn't need to replace the brakes and the dealer just did what I asked and didn't tell me...

    Bluetooth connection to C3 Pro

I am contemplating purchasing a Schuberth SRC System for my C3 Pro helmet. (Revzilla about $265) I never ryde with anyone (no one around who rydes) so person to person is not necessary. What I'd like to know is, if my GPS (which one would that be and I'll buy that as well) will blue tooth...

Purchased a new Battery 6 months ago - now it's dead Again! Help?!

My thinking was, I thought sound, and left an acid battery on the charger. I mean, don't they just trickle down when full charge is met? They do not. Fortunately my garage floor was just concrete because the battery literally melted spilling acid into a large puddle. Even after the plastic...

    Well Heck.

What is a DPS? I had a Yamaha XS1100 in 1984. I rode 1800 miles from LA to West Monroe. The last 20 miles, the bike suddenly was running badly. Took it to the local 'authorized' Yamaha dealer. I was told I had to have all four carbs replaced. Not likely. Loaded it into a truck I bought...
