• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Feedback requested - Monster Fuel Injection (Wick-It Performance) Stage II ECU Flash

I have had Stage II ECU upgrade for my 2014 RT for 8 years. Never had any issue. None. I carry one liter gasoline in the rear trunk. Safety approved aluminum of course. But I have never needed it. I've only stopped at one station that didn't have 91 gas. Drove a mile to the next station for...

Anyone else using CompCooler Motorcycle Rider Solo Cooling System?

I purchased a CompCooler Motorcycle Rider Solo Cooling System. It is seemingly the best system, though certainly arguable. Are there any others who use the system? I had another similar system, but they went out of business and the vest tubes calcified, no water would pass through. I have one...

Debating a water bottle setup on my '22 RT-L - any pics, suggestions?

This makes really good sense, especially if you wear a full face mask.

So many complaints about the Spyders. Anyone with no problems?

I have a 2014 Spyder RT. Dealer fixed slipping parking brake in the first week. Since then, 47K miles and no problems.

My Left Front Fender Light is not working - any ideas?

No satisfaction. I've tried a dozen times to change to my correct email and add the information, but I get a failure. I've even messaged the admin about the email error but no change. I appreciate your suggestion, but I can't get it to work. Thanks Ric Crawford Calhoun LA

My Left Front Fender Light is not working - any ideas?

My left front fender light does not work. Bulb or wiring? Which is most likely? Getting to the unit is difficult. What is the source for a lamp replacement?

Looking at buying - If you are over 80 y/o and ride a Spyder, raise your hand...

I was actually surprised that so many riders are still going at it at their ancient years. I'm 84, have just about all the gear I can have for any situation, a water cooler vest for the heat and a heated jacket for the cold and I live in Louisiana where one can ride year round and have a 2014...

Does anyone know the Actual cost of a new RT?

I have looked at the manufacturer's suggested retail price of the Sea to Sky. I'm seeing $36,000 including 10% tax. Today, I watched a video of a guy riding a 2023 top of the line RT and the price he showed was $53,725.00. Really? What would a similar bike actually cost from a dealership...

Best seats - are Russell Day Long seats REALLY that good?

I must agree. The first day on my 2014 with stock seat, I rode 300 miles, round trip. I was in pain when I got home. That night I ordered the Ultimate seat from Canada. I have ridden it 45,000 miles and on long trips. And have never ever had butt soreness. And have made many 1500 mile...

Where do I go to find how to Add flags and Spyder updates to daily posts?

I see many posters with information on their upgraded bikes and flags of US and Canada posted. I have searched and not found the answer. Point me to the right info spot on the site. And, I receive a message that I have a wrong email but I've posted the change many times and still get the...

From a Goldwing to an Spyder RT Limited ...

Using unleaded, even 5% ethanol is most likely OK for most Spyders, I had the ECU upgraded and was told to always use Premium. I did always use Premium anyway. I, however, do not like to pay the price difference but performance is worth it. Does the extra for premium really mean that much...

2020 RT Ltd seat won't stay up when filling gas etc - any ideas?

Here is the real fix. 100% total comfort PLUS a gas door. Never lift the seat again to fill the fuel tank. True it is more costly than that cheezy arm thing. https://ultimateseats.ca/can-am-spyder-accessories/seats-for-can-am-spyder-rt-2020-and-newer

    Ultimate seat rain cover question

I purchased the Ultimate seat 5 plus years ago after my butt killing ride on the original seat. I have used the rain cover but that disappeared long ago. I've left my bike in the rain a number of times. My dealership left it outside in the rain for two weeks when it was in for repair. after...

Vibrations at 4200 RPM on 2020 RT??

I just replaced tires all around, all Vredestein. The dealer aired the front tires to 20 and the rear to 28. So, I guess the tag is correct.

Thoughts on upgrading old Spyder vs purchasing new.

I have a '14 RT. Plain Vanilla. Upgraded the heck on it. No way I could even get any of that back. Most folks buying a Spy der say, 'well, the book says it's worth...." not even close to the money I put into my bike. It is perfect. And I don't want to give it away. My take is, if you...

How long is the avg Spyder Spark Plug Life?

Thanks for the input. I'm going with the 60 K run. Considering I'm putting new Vredestein tires all around, oil change, radiator flush, something else I forgot what but I'll drive out the dealership door $1,200 light and another $350 would hurt. I bought a 7 x 14 Haulmark cargo trailer to...
