• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is BRP GO cell phone connection any improvement over BRP CONNECT?

I have no experience with BRP Connect, but BRP Go is kludgy at best, it's a half arsed attempt to provide infotainment features, in my opinion. Apple Car Play or Android Auto would be better, as would satellite radio ready capability.

Spyder enjoyment vs. experience of ownership

If dealer service in inconvenient to you, due to location it might be worthwhile to perform your own maintenance, if you are capable. You will save money and will know exactly what work was performed. I'm 7 miles from my dealer and I do my own service, primarily because I don't trust them.

What's the Standard Windscreen Height on a '22 RT?

Fun fact - windshields are clear so you can see through them.

Are there any cheaper brake linkage rods out there?

It might cost $32.00, but all the R&D and trial and error has been done for you. You are buying a part that you know will fit and is proven to solve whatever problem you're trying to fix. Sure, "it's just a metal rod", but by the time you buy the components to make one, install it and get it...

Found a Spyder I like - Opinions please?

Whatever you decide to do - good luck to you. I assume the "dealer south of you" must be in Sierra Vista?

    Your opinion on iMotorsports?

It's not hard to register an out of state vehicle here in AZ. You have to take the vehicle to an MVD office for a level 1 inspection, so they can physically verify the VIN. Then you pay the fees and you're on your way. AZ doesn't issue paper titles anymore, they are electronic, that's fairly new...

Its hard to get off 2 two wheels and onto three.

I've been riding motorcycles since 1973. My last motorcycle was a Harley Ultra Limited. Health reasons dictated that I could no longer continue safely on 2 wheels, so I sold my Harley 3 years ago and bought a 2022 Spyder RTL last November. It is the best feeling in the world to be able to do...

Dealer says Demo Rides are not possible - any suggestions?

Same thing happened to me. I filled out the test ride form, dealer contacted me by phone, I told them I wanted to test ride a Spyder RTL, they said sure, come on in. I showed up the next Saturday and told them I was there for a test ride. “We don’t allow test rides”. I ended up buying anyway...

What's your 2022 RTL getting for gas mileage?

I've had my 2022 RT Limited since November. My average MPG is 29.457 mpg. In that time, my best was 42.04 mpg and the worst was 26.199 mpg. Most of my riding is commuting to/from work, 20 miles each way in stop and go city traffic. I did take an 1100 mile trip over Easter weekend, and highway...

Having a Hard time getting on my Sea to Sky - any hints/advice?

I am a double below knee amputee, and my prosthetic legs are quite heavy and I don't get a lot of input from my carbon-fiber feet when I strike an obstacle. I stand on the left floorboard and 95% of the time, if I go slowly, I can swing my left leg over without hitting the seat, passenger...

HowTo: Add additional storage using BRP LINQ accessories

That's a novel, creative solution. I'm not sure I would have thought of that myself. Nice job!

    Fed up with Can-Am service!

For what it's worth, I had a dealer issue and contacted BRP. I received a phone call from the BRP customer service people and was told "Dealers are independent businesses, we don't really control what they do", well, crappy dealers are destroying your brand's reputation. I'd think that BRP has...

What are you all using for Phone Holders on the handle-bars?

I have a 22 RTL. I use a Lamonster top cuff on the LH bar with a 1" RAM ball mount, then a 4" RAM clamp and then a RAM phone holder.

BRP changes re: sending links to instructions

That was one thing Harley-Davidson got right. If you're searching for parts or accessories on their site, there is usually a link to the installation instructions for that accessory. I've notice the Can-Am website is very sparse on useful information for their parts and accessories.

Your Weather News @ March Edition 2023

Yesterday it was 81 at my house near Phoenix. Today the high is supposed to be 65 with thunderstorms. Needless to say I did not ride to work this morning. Should be dry and in the upper 70’s by end of week.
