• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thank you, Joe, for your positive comments. I see this was only your second post on Spyderlovers. Welcome to this forum, it is a great place to learn things about the Spyder and usually things are pretty congenial here. I see you have quite a corral of bikes. The Spyder is a completely...

To quote a famous or infamous woman......... "What difference does it make now"........ I already have a contract signed, panels are on and I'm 1 day away from being "turned on so to speak":shemademe_smilie: with these solar panels. I couldn't change things now even if I wanted to.....which I...

Some of these comments took me back 6 years ago when I bought my Spyder. I was told "those things are just a toy and will never last very long and are only designed and meant for riding short rides around town" Sorry if you think I reacted in an out of the norm way, but I did do a lot of...

I'm getting a little tired of all the negative comments from you and a couple of others on here.......you make it sound like I'm a sucker and don't have a clue about what's really happening. Some of the comments you guys are making shows me you only have bits and pieces of incomplete...

I don't have batteries on the system, so if the power goes off I don't have power any way. It is the law that says solar can't be pumping power back into the grid if the power is off, for safety reasons.

Yes I know that as the system ages it does degrade. I have a written guarantee about the yearly production amounts of electricity that is produced: Here is the the guarantee: Energy Production Guarantee. Sungevity guarantees during the Lease Term that the System will generate the guaranteed...

Checking the coolant on a brand new Spyder

I use a very small led light that goes on a key ring and open the reservoir and insert the light right into the reservoir and it shows up the level of coolant very well.

If my electric bill was any where near yours I would not even consider solar panels. If my bill was around $100, I would not go solar. My bill as I said is $200 a month and they are showing that we are still behind or owe the power company over $300 after this month's budget payment. The...

Solar is not for everyone! We did a lot of research on this, and quite a few months considering doing it and have talked to a lot of people in our area that have already gone to solar over a year ago. One family in Skaneatlas has been over a year with there system and there electric bill is...

I am tired of paying our very high electric bills, right now we are paying $200 a month on the budget plan and I'm sure that it will be getting even higher. Our solar panels are guaranteed to produce 100% of our electric usage. Here are a few pics. of the installation in it's early stages...

    We did it!!!!

Thanks for all the feedback! It is nice to hear all of the positive comments about the longevity of our Spyder. It truly has been a great bike. We have very had very few problems with it especially considering the miles on it. We of course are still on the original motor and it seems as...
