• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Hi, I'm Holly

:clap:Glad you could join us! We've all enjoyed seeing those golden locks attached to the helmet (and tweaking Randy on your behalf). Love your avatar, and got a good laugh out of your signature tag. Hope Randy's saving up some bucks for that RT!

Knew Holly was along from the first picture of her helmet, hanging on Arntufun's yellow RS... :D

    Junk In The Trunk

Forgot the glove box: garage door opener, and when riding to work, my badge that lets me in to park.

    Junk In The Trunk

When one is a) completely mechanically dis-inclined, and b) an eternal optimist, it does seem to result in less stuff... Frunk: Bike paperwork, otherwise empty (it holds both our BRP helmets when we stop). Usually toss the gloves in there too. If we're going on a picnic, we have a small...

Thanks, Joe, for a great Oyster Run!

    Spyder Sightings

On vacation back east (in a car, boo hoo). Today (Monday, Oct 10) saw a silver RS on Arch Street in Greenwich, CT, around 1:00 PM (twice, as the rider must have gone around the block). Didn't get a chance to wave from the sidewalk. I believe there were some aftermarket pipes on that baby too -...

How many Spyders do we have in Washington?

You forgot to mention it comes with a crazy lady riding on the back! :roflblack:

    Teddy's New Adventures

It's a good thing Radgirl only rides on the back seat. If she were up front, we'd be blaring Barry Manilow all over the place... :yikes:

Firstgear Rainier & Teton Jacket Sale!

No, no, definitely don't want you to sit on sales either. :) I'm sure I'm just one of many here who appreciate your Spyderlover offerings greatly. I think I'm gonna stick with the Kilimanjaro - will send you a PM. Many thanks!

Firstgear Rainier & Teton Jacket Sale!

Dang it, Ron, now you're making things difficult.... :D I was all set to buy a 2012 Kilimanjaro from you and now you go and do this... Okay, I've looked at the First Gear site and compared the Rainier and the new Kilimanjaro. For the things I'm interested in (inner liner as jacket, helmet...

Best way to clean a RT??

I went to the local motorcycle store near my work, which sells Ducattis and Kawasakis. They had a dry-wash spray by Motul called "Wash & Wax" which they use to clean the plastics on their showroom bikes. So I thought I'd try that. It works quite well - just spray it on, and wipe everything off...

    Spyder Sightings in WA

One of these days you'll see us (blue RT, two up, with matching blue BRP helmets). We have a place out in the Shelton area that we visit every other weekend or so, although we've only driven the Spyder out there once so far (when we did our 'round-the-Olympics trip a couple of weeks ago).

    2011 Reno Street Vibrations views

More Spyders, but just as many Harley's. :D The pre-Run breakfast in La Conner with all the Spyders, followed by the run up to Anacortes, is the best part of the trip, so make sure you're in on that!

Thanks, Joe, for a great Oyster Run!

Lil Rabbit told us he was related to the famous Flamingobabe, just before his nifty Can Am hat blew off his head in the montrous winds we had up there. So we didn't get to hear more of the story. Are you the one who got him on board the Spyder train? Or did you both arrive at the idea independently?

Step on it, Joe! They're gaining on us!

Thanks, Joe, for a great Oyster Run!

Terrific work, Cindy! And of course, since our bike was the one behind you for most of the trip, we're the ones with the most screen time! :D And I noted the very gracious editing, where you ended the video about a minute before I nearly rear-ended you and Joe. :yikes: But hey, no harm no...

Thanks, Joe, for a great Oyster Run!

Thanks for leading a great ride today, Joe! Radgirl had a great time, and met some new friends too. Looking forward to more rides with the WA Spyder troop! Here's a few of the pix we snapped today: Stopping for breakfast in LaConner: Spyder lineup on the main drag in Anacortes: Our RT...

    Spyder Sightings

Saw two today (Saturday the 24th), a white RS with single rider, passenger backrest, rider with a multi-colored helmet, going south on I-405 around 2:30 PM south of Bellevue. Then a lady on a red RS southbound on I-5 around 4:40 PM, I think west of Olympia. Of course, hoping to see a bunch of...
