• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Buy it ... I think you should get it. I've had mine 2 months and even with the heat issue on the left side I love it and am not sorry I bought it. I still have my BMW F650GS and would not dream of getting rid of either. With all the help and idea's I'm getting from the members in this forum I...

    Ongoing ST heat Mods

Update Spent the day at the dealer yesterday - had three guys going over the bike from head to toe. :f_spider: Showed an overheat code (bars weren't up though) - anyway, easy answer on SOME of the heat, at least the excessive "burn my leg" heat. The coolant was down - WAY down. I just had my...

    Ongoing ST heat Mods

Hmmmm I'm glad you're not having a problem - you're one of the lucky ones. The heat I feel has nothing to do with the sun, wind or time of day. No matter when or where I ride the panels on the left side of my bike get so hot I cannot put my leg against them or touch the screws for fear of a...

    ATTN: ST OWNERS!

Do you know when? I purchased my ST last month. Left side hot, hot, hot. I'm not technically competent or knowledgeable as many of your other members. All I know is that it's uncomfortable to drive and dangerous - so hot that it's uncomfortable to touch after only 8 miles and the screws...

    ATTN: ST OWNERS!

Hmmmm We took the bottom panel off of the left side and I rode for a little under 200 miles - The hot air coming from the opening was so uncomfortable I had to keep adjusting my leg to keep from getting burned and the left side still gets so hot I can hardly touch it. It's dangerous - I'm so...

Test Results of Heat Elimination Mods

Hot Panels I have a 2013 ST Limited. Super hot on left side - wrapped the exhaust in heat tape and silicone spray and added Heat Shield sheets to the panels. Still hot (screws where the front and middle panels meet above my knee get so hot I can't touch them.) I like your idea of the duct to...
