• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Lamonster Windshield

I have had my 15" installed for a while now. The wind hits me about eye level. I am 5'11", but I am very long in the torso. I have a couple of friends who have both a 17" and a 19". I can see fine over both of them. I will probably order a taller one. It was very easy to install in the...

    Headlight install

I don't know that I really understand what panels I have to take off to access that adjustment screw though. It tells you sorta where it is and how to adjust it, but it doesn't say what you have to do to get to it. Not that I could find anyhow.

    Headlight install

I'll look for them, thanks. I might even read the dreaded manual.

    Headlight install

After having the new bulbs installed, the headlights are a bit too high. I think it's bad for oncoming traffic and the high beams are useless unless i want to see up into trees. Is there a way to adjust the direction of the beam. Could I use a washer and shim the screw at the top of the...

    Garage door opener!

I bought the garage door opener from Slingmods. It's fantastic. No more fumbling around or getting off the bike to get the door open! It's great!

    First group ride!

Last weekend, a group of us got together and rode from DFW down to Hillsboro and Waco. We were 15 spiders and a couple of 2-wheelers strong. It was a great ride!

    Break in?

Thanks for the info guys. I need to read the manual, but I'm dreading it.

    Break in?

Thanks for the info. I am at about 460 miles now. I've done both in-town and highway driving so the speed has varied quite a bit so far. I'll make sure to get it in at 3500 miles. :)

    Break in?

Break in servicing? As I get close to the 500 mile mark, I am wondering what sort of break in period or break in service I might need to perform. Thanks in advance for any responses.

Where in Texas are you from?

Grand Prairie here. I bought my 2016 F3-T just over 2 weeks ago.

    Headlight install

With the help of a couple people on facebook, I determined that those are vent holes so the light doesn't fog. I used a little bit of glue around the edge of the caps and now they stay on just fine.

    Headlight install

I installed Lamonster LED headlights today and they are great! I did run into an issue though. On the left light, there are 2 caps on the back of the light that keep popping off and don't seem to stay in place. This leads me to a couple of questions before I screw the light back on: Do...

    Lamonster keyless fuel cap

I used a channel lock to grip the pin and then the sleeve came right out. I messed up a little though because I used 91% isopropol to clean the strip where the light is installed and it actually ate into my clear coat a little. I had to follow behind with just water on a rag. After that, the...

    Lamonster keyless fuel cap

Thanks for the call this morning. I'm glad we talked. I think what you said is correct and that you just didn't chase the threads on mine. I think it's ironic that the easy part took me a couple of hours and the hard part took about 10 minutes. Getting the tool on the square nut and fishing...

    Lamonster keyless fuel cap

I got it figured out. I tried a little soap on the threads and then used Vaseline. I worked the screws in and out of the cap until I dug the threads deep enough to get the screws flush. I still couldn't seat them all the way, but you wouldn't know it by looking at it. I am wondering if they...

    Lamonster keyless fuel cap

I thought these looked pretty cool and my fuel cap is tough to get closed. I tried to do the install tonight and didn't get very far. The "beauty" screws didn't fit into the cap. It's almost like the cap was machined for smaller screws. I tried being careful to make sure no cross-threading...

    New Belt Tensioner Part #

At $100 more than the kit from Can-Am, do you think the Humphreys kit is worth it? Edit: Oops, I should have refreshed the thread before my post. I guess I am wondering if it's worth $100 more than the Can-Am version.
