• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Peaceful Ride To Nowhere Today

That being said, I would rather ride at 100 F with 20% humidity in AZ than 95 F with 90% humidity here in East TX.

What is the Ryker Front Wheel hub bore size?

I just went out to the garage and measured the exterior of the hub on mine; it is 1.75 inch. The bore size (for the wheel) should be slightly greater. The inside bore of the hub appears to be 1.5 inch.

    Peaceful Ride To Nowhere Today

I remember a day ride several years ago where I just began exploring small oil-top roads east of Tyler towards the Louisiana border. Every time I came to an intersection I took the smaller road. I finally found a tiny business selling the East Texas equivalent of Natchitoches Meat Pies; they...

    Where is everybody?

We are having a really (unusual for East Texas) snow shower today. It will likely be gone tomorrow and the forecast is for the 60's here by mid-week. I'm itching to try out my new rear tire. I'm not sure where in AZ you are Jeff but my daughter and her family are in Camp Verde and it is 54...

    Where is everybody?

I know it is winter but there hasn't been any activity on this forum since the 5th. Isn't somebody doing something interesting that is Ryker related?

    Rear tire replacement time

I replaced the rear tire on my Rally model today; a new tire for the new year. This is what I used. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Forceum-Hena-205-55R15-88V-A-S-Performance-Tire/596072591. My local independent tire shop was nonplussed about the mounted disc but were careful. For the record -...

    Ryker Knock Off

I could see it being a three-wheel alternative to the Kimco scooters in urban areas like college towns. It would need some luggage options to be practical. I'm trying to be more open minded for 2021.

Chris56, Lee T. Dunlap, and others - need Outlander Deluxe Fairing & bar advice?

Not to hijack or reroute the thread but what about the Outlander faring with the Ryker Cross Style bars? They are wider and have more pull back than the stock Ryker bars. The advantage is that they are already drilled for the alignment pins on the controls.

    Rear rotor and brake pad.

Has the rear wheel been off the bike for some reason? Could the rotor have become damaged during handling?

How can you tell....... when it's time to change the CVT Belt?

It would be great if someone did a video documentation of the process so that the DIY among us could benefit.

    Rear tire replacement time

It did not seem that removing the rotor was related to wheel removal from the axle; rotor removal was done after the wheel was removed. Rather it appeared to be done prior to tire exchange and balance of the wheel. The video did not explain the reason for rotor removal just the difficulty on...

    Rear tire replacement time

When you got the new tire mounted and balanced was it necessary to remove the brake rotor from the wheel? I just watched a youtube video where the owner did just that. It didn;t seem necessary and looked like a bunch of trouble

    Drilling through Max Mount

I didn't want to drill into my Max Mount so I purchased one of these mounting plates out of Canada. https://spyderzone.ca/en/product/linq-attachement-plate-for-ryker-top-case/ The GIVI mount is bolted to the plate and the plate attaches to the Max Mount like any other accessory.

Review: 2020 Ryker 6,000 mile review

I have to agree with Doc about this. I have had a lot of parking lot questions about my Ryker Rally and positive comments. I have also had my annual safety inspection done at the local Harley Davison dealer twice (2019 and 2020). Both times the grizzly hard core Harley technicians have all...

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

The rubber bushings have not bulged; they are exactly as they were when installed. My "guess" is that the extra rubber material outside the shackle is there to prevent the bushing from moving laterally. The washers I used were just to prevent the shackle from sliding back and forth on the bolt.

Ryker ride through Moses Lake Wa.

Greg, based on your videos it seems pretty quiet behind that windscreen (even at interstate speed). What is it, and do you look over it or through it?

Engine oil capacity differences between 2019 & 2020?

Part number for the 2020 model is also 420656905. It appears only the dip stick was changed.
