• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any aftermarket scan tools that work with the Ryker?

I know the DynoJet Powervision will communicate with the Ryker and allow changes to the ECM. However, the Powervision is $400 and I have no intention of installing a tune. Really all I would like to do is read any error codes and turn off maintenance required messages. I replaced my own CVT...

Do you ever park your Ryker in a parking lot or does it depend on ??

I use my Rally for most local errands and grocery shopping so it is in parking lots often. I have never had a problem but have had people walk over and ask about it. The most fun was a small boy and his mother that were parked in the adjoining spot. The boy was fastinated; his mother said he...

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

I changed my CVT belt; it was the first time for my Ryker. I guess I could have taken it to my dealer, waited for a month, and paid a whole bunch. Between the clutch sheve tool and a new belt I have about $200 and my time in the job. Im retired so my time is free. It took about three hours...

    Ryker Cooling Problem(s)?

Perhaps too efficient. At temperatures below 40o F my display will not rise above 3 bars while riding. If I stop and idle (such as at a traffic light) my coolant temperature will rise and show 5 bars. However, as soon as I start moving the display drops back to three or two bars. I took my...

Will Baker Built Air Wings reduce wind noise and buffeting?

Thanks Dean, my current helmet is a Nolan N100-5 modular that I purchased in 2019. I am aware that the modular designs are not as quiet as some of the fixed full face but I like the convenience of the Nolan cam-lock and the ability to flip up the front at times and have owned four of the...

Will Baker Built Air Wings reduce wind noise and buffeting?

I am still working to reduce wind noise and buffeting at highway speed on my Rally model. I purchased a CalSci windshield soon after i realized that the BRP sport windshield wasn't all I wanted. Although it reduced most of my helmet buffeting the wind noise continues. I wear custom ear plugs...

What Tires are on YOUR Ryker - Details

Ryker: 2019 Rally Type of Riding: Mostly local riding thus far; 100-300 mile days. Primarily secondary roads at 55-75 mph. Not terribly aggressive. Twelve month riding in East Texas. Suspension: On the front change to 400 mm shocks...

Ryker Front Tires - Car Tire?

I have a Forceum Hena on the rear of my Rally. I have been very satisfied with it. The grip i(particularly in the wet) is way better than the stock Kenda and at 20 psi the ride is much more comfortable.

Speakers - What setup do you have

I use custom molded earplugs with speakers that are bluetooth to my phone. They fit inside my helmet and reduce ambient external noise while providing music at a comfortable level. Maybe it is a little selfish that I don't share my music with everyone around me; shame on me.

CVT Transmission behaviour Questions - is this normal??

To elaborate on what has been said before, the clutches do not fully engage until engine speed reaches 1800 RPM.

Did You Or Will You Switch To FULL Synthetic Oil Upon 1st Oil Change?

I switched to synthetic but not at the first oil change. My dealer did the first oil change at the 3K inspection (presumably with BRP blend). I conducted the second oil change at 8.3K with Mobil Delvac 5/40 synthetic diesel oil...

Bad LED Retention rings from Slingmods

I bought a set of the LED's from SlingMods this summer. On my set the bulb adapter flange was metal (like the stock halogen bulb) instead of plastic. I did not try to use the retainment ring provided in the kit because the stock ring worked fine (just like it did on the stock halogen bulb)...
