• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Buying experience at iMotorsports and other stuff

I have been in contact with IMotorsports. They have a heck of a deal on Spyders especially the free delivery or plane ticket to Chicago. The problem with that is Chicago. Never enjoyed driving thru there and that was in the 90's. I can't imagine what its like now. I was driving thru Canada to go...

    Factory Incentives

My dealer gives $1000 to $2000 off two to three year old leftover machines. Don't worry he makes it up with extra charges that sound great until you need those services. This dealer makes sure he doesn't lose. They tried to charge me for their mess-up. Looking for new dealer now.

    Cabot Trail 2016 ride

Was there last year. We had high winds and poor visibility. Still nice though. This year we toured some vineyards in the Annapolis Valley in the Wolfville area. That whole area is so diversified. Apples, grapes, peaches. strawberries and all kinds of vegetables. Some of the friendliest people you...

Great Trip Yesterday: Over the Bridge to Prince Edward Island

When I went over the bridge with my granddaughter she wanted to drive back and cross it over again. She doesn't seem to mind high places. I still have to take her up Mt. Washington in New Hampshire.

    Cabot Trail 2016 ride

In 2016 we re planning on going to the Bluenose Rally just outside of Kentville, Nova Scotia July 1st to the 3rd. After that we are heading to the Cabot Trail. We camp out and do the trail counter clockwise keeping the ocean on our right side. Better view of the coastline. Take all day and spend...

    Bike Barn?

Even the inexpensive units work good if taken care of. We bought two units from Harbor Freight last year to store camping equipment and tools for the winter. We would go out after every storm and clean them off. The only problem we had was drainage in one of the units. Luckily we had put...

2016 Spyder Line up announcement at sturgis?

My granddaughter rides with me as much as she can. Her first love is the Spyder. Enough that she claims its hers. Her father keeps telling her that when it is time to get her license she has to take it on a regular two wheeled bike. She said she will not be riding two wheels so why should she...

Can Am plaque on the F3

My granddaughter won the silver meddle in the three wheel blind obstacle course race at the Bluenose Rally in Nova Scotia so I replaced the BRP logo with it. She plans on winning the Gold next year so I'll leave the front open for it.

    Is that thing safe!

Just tell people you traded the kick stand for a third wheel. A lot of men answer back that it's a good idea. Another one I like is when they tell me its a lot of money to buy one. Just tell them to borrow it from the kid's Inheritance. :roflblack:

    Spyder Sighting in Vermont

I hook up my trailer to go shopping. You have to take advantage when you can. No riding tomorrow. Two inches of rain is a bit much besides have to pack for my trip to Nova Scotia Tuesday. My special trip with granddaughter. Seventh year. Not bad for an eleven year old.

Received today mailer from BRP on Freedom Trailers

I'll stick with my $380 Harbor Freight trailer. I extended the back rails to accommodate a 10 X 10 canopy. Also replaced the lights with LEDs for $38. Simple, inexpensive and practical. Adding LED strips to back of trailer for more visibility. (And it's fun):2thumbs:

    Interesting Ride

I would think that it would not be practical in snow country. Plows have a tendency to scrape off what is not completely embedded in the oil or liquid asphalt base. Not all of the roadway gets ridden over :dontknow:.
