• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    swaybars

The RS and RT sway bars are different lengths and angles - they are not interchangable. That is why I stock both types and not just one. I have heard of RS owners fitting RT front shocks but definately not sway bars!

    3 UP

A Spyder with a sidecar would give you 4 wheels. Not sure about over where you are but here in Australia that pretty much makes you a car (automobile) and bound by all the associated desig rules.

What windshield do you recommend on the RS for freeway driving?

+1 for Madstad- I have tried the standard screen , touring screen, touring screen with Laminar Lip fitted, CHAD (Canadian screen no longer available) and the Madstad is ahead by far.

    Best aftermarket windshield

Its not just adjustability. With the Madstad system once you have found your personal "sweet spot" you leave it there but other fixed screens allow adjustment that lets you find the spot that is right for you. Also screens fixed to the body bring their own problems as below.

    Front Tire Tribulations

I remember years ago following an interstate rider (Honda 500/4) on a dirt road here in OZ. He pulled over, I stopped and he was using a can of Finilec to try and reinflate the rear tyre. The Metzler tyre pattern had a heavy centre groove and the goo was flowing out this centre groove all around...

    RT SWAY BAR

Hi Bob I have sold probably 15 or 20 RT sway bars here in Australia and many more GS/RS bars. The issue Don (jackndon) had is the first time I have struck it (it was an RT bar an RS bar would not come close to fitting an RT) however doing some research on the US forums I discovered a couple of...

    new slightly frustrated RT rider

Hi Jos and welcome. I keep a battery minder on my RS all the time. I have had the Spyder for 4 years now and just replaced the battery as a matter of course- previous experience has shown that after 3-4 years you are pretty much on borrowed time and I did not want to be stranded. I have on my...

Hi All Trust this may help clarify things. Black one below is RT, orange one is RS/GS. I have both in stock. RT is a couple of mm larger in diameter and shorter.

    no more evo swaybar

Hi Scotty I have recent stock (designs of the Evo RS bar did change some time ago) of both RT and RS Evo swaybars and while I don't have a micrometer the RT bar is the thicker one by far. I just took them both off the shelf and clearly the RS is the thinner bar and its longer than the RT...
