• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Latest Farkle Grenade & Subsequent Road Test Impressions...

Got the Bajaron/Lamonster Swaybar & Links installed on the Batpod today. Wow! What a difference in ride quality! For those not yet running them on their F3 bikes, these parts tighten up the front end something fierce. After getting these bits installed, rode 100+ miles home from Castaic to...

    Car tire

Oh the things that some mechanics will say! :roflblack: I've got a "deadly car tire" in the form of a Kumho Ecsta AST in a P225/50R15 queued up and ready to go when I've finally torched through the OEM rear Kenda on my F3.

    Gipsy Danger's First Farkle Grenade

That's the hope! We're cruising to Vegas in May for our anniversary, so that's about 4 hours in the saddle.

Bob-O, I hear you on that one! I've got my eye on some Elka shocks when my next bonus comes around

    Gipsy Danger's First Farkle Grenade

So, wifey is not much for lobbing Farkle Grenades. She's of the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" school of thought. However, when she mentioned how nice it would be to have a backrest on Gipsy Danger, just like I have on the Batpod, I jumped at the chance to toss another Farkle Grenade. Just...

Some Late Night F3 Farkle Grenade Lobbing...

She does indeed need a bath! I'll have to see if I can hook that up this weekend.

Some Late Night F3 Farkle Grenade Lobbing...

LOL...I've got a buddy at work that does Motorcycle/Trike Dyno tunes. Currently running a canned tune on my Power Commander...might have him do a custom tune on the Spyder.

Some Late Night F3 Farkle Grenade Lobbing...

After a LONG day of work, nothing beats getting into the garage and tossing some farkle grenades at the Batpod. Got a few Lamonster goodies in the mail today and decided to hook them up with a swiftness. I'm not usually one for the ostentatious bling, but I have to admit, the IPS caps for the...

    Idiot commenting on my Spyder!

Hmm...I'm sure there are douche nozzle Harley guys out there (like the one you reference above). Thankfully, all of the Harley guys I have encountered on my rides and in parking lots always give me a nod of respect for the Batpod.

1st successful oil change in the books!

Chu': Yes, proper warm up was indeed done...just neglected to mention that part ;) I did a slow fill of the 5 quarts and no leaks...it helped that I let the bike drain for a good, solid 2 days before re-filling the crankcase :roflblack:

    Rear Shock

Doug: I just did this exact same mod last weekend, and yes, I can tell you that you WILL notice a difference...no more bottoming out on the travel for me!

1st successful oil change in the books!

I think the socket was too tall. It barely fit in there, and then adding the actual socket wrench, it was a "no go." I tried with a Powerbuilt 36mm axle nut socket (I believe it's what Vegas used on his RT oil change write up). I'm glad it didn't work out the first time with that. The...

1st successful oil change in the books!

Thanks to the excellent intel on here and specific member feedback on panel removal on the F3S, I completed my first successful oil change this evening  Indeed, the toughest part was snaking the oil filter housing cap out of the bike. I temporarily moved the brake fluid reservoir, and...

    Lightting suggestions

Thanks, brother! I'm really happy with how it turned out, as well...really clean install and doesn't disrupt the lines of the bike.

    Looking at an RT

We bought wifey a '16 RT-S SE6. She absolutely LOVES it. She was coming from ZERO motorcycle riding experience, but she picked it up within 30 minutes of noodling around on it. Great ride!
