• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Found a big design flaw with the 1st Gear Riding Suit

I've had my First Gear thermal riding suit a little over a year and today I found the first major flaw with it. Granted I haven't done a lot of cold weather riding and for some of what I did do I wore my First Gear Kilimanjaro coat which is absolutely great. Anyway, today was my first...

    2012 RT Cat-Bypass

First of all Spyder Attitude is and has been a good Spyder Lovers sponsor. Second, I was one of the early purchasers of their CAT bypass. It was delivered quickly, well packaged, built like a battleship and fit like a glove. And as of today it is still working perfectly. You may have had...

    LOST PART bad first ride

Probably obvious now that that wasn't sufficient. The force on something the size of a side panel in high speed wind will be in the hundreds of pounds. You need to use something like braded cable. Check out these photos of what I did.

Sena Headsets and SR10 BT module

I plan on getting the new Sena SMH20s set when they are available. I already put my name on MC Dave's list One of the things I want to try is pair it with the Bluetooth module in my Yaesu FTM-10 and still pair to BT audio streaming from the SM10 dual streaming unit, telephone and intercom...

Making a Really Great Lift Even Better

Today it was 65º ( ) so I decide to do some work in the garage. Since my Spyder is still at the shop I decided today would be a good day to make a slight improvement to my Handy B.O.B. Spyder lift. The Spyder normally is backed onto the lift and I learned in January during...

    Here's my Bluetooth dongle harness

Be careful with this option. Forget to turn it off and you will end up with a dead battery. I install a USB power outlet and hooked to always on 12volt and it will take my battery down in about 2 to 3 days to where the bike won't start. I'm adding a relay circuit that shuts it down when the...

    RT with a trunk

Nice idea. You might consider some sort of heat shield on the corner near the muffler. On a long trip you could end up melting the box. Don't ask me how I know. nojoke

Is it the end for E15 ?

They need to stop all ethanol production. Taxpayer dollars are paying for the production because it is not profitable any other way. Ethanol is also the biggest destroyer of small engines, costing businesses billions of dollars.

    Corbin Passenger Armrest ??

We've had them on our RT Limited for almost 2 years and the wife loves them. She did say they could be a little lower, but I can't see how any arm rests could be lowered on the RT because of the rear speakers. They are only held on with screws turned into the fiberglass, so they are only for...

    Tri Axis Adjustable Handlebar

One of the top mods I've done. Makes riding much more comfortable. I can't speak for the 13 or 14 model years but on the 2012s and earlier you have to remove the front console assembly. You do not have to remove the frunk or glove box. It took me about 4 hours or so to do. Although it...

Can Am Spyder Holds Place of Honor

Went to Fredericksburg Motorsports to drop off my Limited for some warrenty work before it expires. They, like other dealers have posters of bikes hanging on the wall. One particular location has always had the coolest looking posters of awsome custom bikes. I considered it a place of...
