• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Tire has gone missing

Well it looks like the MAXXIS - MA-Z4S VICTRA 225/50-15 95V has now been discontinued as well. The 225/50-15 size is quickly becoming extinct. So, I decided to make the size change and ordered the Michelin HydroEdge Radial Tire - 215/60R15 93T from Amazon.

    Extra fuel for long trip

New England isn't that big. You could cross several states on a single tank of gas. Unless your somewhere less populated I wouldn't worry about it.

    A Forum Enhancement ???

I belong to a couple other forums and two of them have the ability to "show new replies to my posts". Many times if you don't get back here for a day or more your post rolls off the backend of new posts and you have to dig for it to see if there were any replies. Is this a capability that...

Looking for after market replacement rear tire valve stem.

Anyone found a longer curved or shapped valve stem for the RT rear wheel? I'm looking for one that can be accessed from the side opposite the drive belt & gear. I have a new tire on order and when I get it mounted I'd like to change out the stock valve stem to something more useful. I do...

    6' 2" plus....talk to me

Steve - I recommend talking to Corbin. If they don't have an out-of-the-box solo seat, I bet they could come up with one for you. Otherwise as mentioned above, take a look at their Lamonster cut seat. It's not the Lamonster cut since that came out after I ordered mine, but I love my...

    Tire has gone missing

I ordered the MAXXIS - MA-Z4S VICTRA 225/50-15 95V.. Found it for $78 and $21 shipping. I did find the Kuhmo on one site for $89 but they wanted $98.54 to ship it. :yikes: According to another recent thread Discounttiredirect.com has a large number on backorder. Also, their EBay page...

    Tire has gone missing

It looks like the Kumho ECASTA AST 225/50r15 is no longer available anywhere. I've looked all over the web and no one has it in stock. Even tire discount, the guys with the $81 and free shipping are out of stock. I'm grounded, I need a new rear tire. What are my other options. I don't...

    2014 RT Front Tires Replaced

This tire problem is not new with the 14' models. Do a search on the forum. You'll find is has been going on for several years. After 3 months of trying to fix the problem I threw out my tires and went to car tires on the front. Been problem free for 10k miles.

    Air Conditioner For Bikes

I'm going out on the limb here but I think it's "snake oil". The amount of power needed for even the smallest compressor type cooling would suck the battery and recharging circuit down to nothing. You need "compression" to generate the heat or cooling cycle. Just look at the current...

Looks like a good deal to me.

DR Buck's 2012 RT Limited Mods

Removing CAT gets rid of excess weight and LOTS of unneeded heat. I get about 25 to 27 MPG. I'm not sure what gave the most improvement as I did it all for improving airflow and getting rid of heat. MPG has never concerned me.

    Hello Virginia

The bridge tunnel is more like 23 mile long. I used to make weekend trips from Norfolk to SE PA on my Honda 2 wheeler way back when the toll was $3.25.

    Wheel wobbles

Replace the tires! You will find the only solution is to replace the OEM tires. Broken or separated belts have been posted many time on this forum. I experienced it last year with only ~5000 miles on the Spyder. It occurred at 55 mph. I spent weeks trying to fix it, including several...

Any one put ham radio on their spyders

The only antenna that will work is something that is 1/2 wave for 2 meters because of no ground plane. I think mine is Diamond dual-band. Radio is mounted in the frunk on the right side rear wall. On my limited, its behind thr zipper on the frunk lining. Antenna ia mounted on the back...
