• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone using a TPMS via an APP or advice on TPMS for a recent Spyder owner like me :)

I ordered mine well before getting my bike delivered because of great feedback from folks on this forum like great folks above.:agree: Mine is sitting here ready to go as soon as I get my RTL.

How many 2022 Spyders Coming?? Shout if you've ordered/got one!

I would also like to believe that BRP will be able to supply all the missing parts, but I am somewhat skeptical. :dontknow: According to Shawn Smoaks, who was invited by BRP to do some Can-Am On Road commercials on 2023 models, BRP will announce the new models in August. He also said that he...

How many 2022 Spyders Coming?? Shout if you've ordered/got one!

I'll be calling the dealer again at the end of July to see how things are going. If it's delivered in August with Missing parts, I may as well wait for a 2023. Hopefully they'll have the logistics and parts issues mostly fixed. If not, it still is going to be a new model and less depreciation...

Will the 1330 engine adjust based on gas octane changes?

AT 5:19 on this Smoaks video, you can hear a newer Spyder having some pre-detonation issues. However, the rest of the ride is good except for the warped rotor. ;) https://youtu.be/hTCHQkHHuMc I put 91 octane in my motorcycle. It's 6.9 cents per liter more than 87 and I usually put 20 liters...

How many 2022 Spyders Coming?? Shout if you've ordered/got one!

I had ordered my 2022 RTL last December. Delivery has already been delayed three times. Last week I talked to the manager and agreed that if it doesn't arrive complete and ready to go by end of July, they would keep my substantial deposit and apply it to a 2023 model instead. I have already...

Some Canadian dealers are already charging over $2K for 2022 Spyders they have in stock. Here is the MSRP from the BRP site, . Here is a screenshot from a Quebec dealer's website.

New Spyders - Check That Aligment!!!

Pro Caliber Motorsports in Vancouver WA laser aligns all their new Spyders prior to delivery to customers. At the price dealer charges for PDI ($1,575 in my case), the least they could do is check alignment and adjust as necessary.

Anyone know of/have a Pre Delivery Checklist/Inspection list? Suggestions?

I have not received mine yet, but when I do get it, the first thing I'll check is the ride height connector arm (don't know that actual names) that connects the height sensor with the rear wheel trailing arm. This small connecting arm is disconnected for boxing and shipping. It is often...

    Awaiting new Spyder, but ...

Congratulations BC! They are a really cool looking machine. It looks like Martin the Vlogger's Beast before he put all the lifting paint wrap. While we wait for your pictures, here is short video of one: https://youtu.be/kxpv2YEOA_c

Are Tufskinz Peel & Stick Protectors as good as claimed?

Please let us know how it went and include a picture or two please. I'm very interested in the Raw carbon fibre trim for my 2022 RTL (whenever it gets delivered.:dontknow:)

Are Tufskinz Peel & Stick Protectors as good as claimed?

I contacted Tufskinz to ask about the quality, durability and potential fraying of the carbon fiber on the edges of the accent trims. Brad from Tufskinz quickly responded with the following information: Thanks for reaching out in regards to our 100% Real Carbon Fiber(Raw) products for the...

A good write up in Rider online Magazine

The reviewer on on MC Commute doesn't know how to drive a Spyder. He must be a crotch-rocket driver by the way he drives and the high revs all the time. But that's just my old guy perspective. :dontknow: The Rider Magazine article is very good. But they forgot to mention anything about "old...

    Never order from https://can-am-shop.brp.com/

I ordered from can-am-shop.brp.com for a Backrest and a GPS mount. It took 3 weeks to arrive and the parts were shipped from a Can-Am dealer in another Province who happened to have both parts I was looking for. Seems like when BRP doesn't have the part in their warehouse, they go searching in...

Are Tufskinz Peel & Stick Protectors as good as claimed?

I would also like to use their "Raw" carbon fiber protectors, but I am a bit concerned about fraying at the edges. I may have to call them to find-out how they ensure that the fibers do not fray when accidently rubbed.
