• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    News Gets Worse for Harley

Harley seems to be in an identical spot to other businesses who ran big and large during the Boomer years but now that society has changed and the current social class has other desires and options they are finding their products are not in great demand. Not only do the Millennials not want the...

    Spyder caught fire today

BRP has walked back plans to name the "$10,000 Spyder" the "Pinto".

She says kids today are weird

Unless she was cussing at her chicken it should have been 'foul' language. :)

    Help with DESS

My local stealer charges $130 for the blank and programming (and you have to wait at least one week for the blank to arrive - no inventory).

    Why???

The "brake before you shift" is a valid safety feature on automatic or semi-automatic vehicles. Once you get used to it you probably think, as I do, that it is overkill but to a newbie who is just learning about the trike it can prevent an accident.

    IPS question

Why would you spend significant dollars on a key without the chip? You ever think a prospective thief would spy your key in the ignition and either break it off in a fit of rage after the trike would not start? And why invite someone to try to steal it? Good invitation for road rage.

    TWO DOWN, ONE TO GO

Should have been more specific. I don't like all the horse mistreatment that goes on in the name of "sport". Same goes with greyhound racing.

    Love horses. Hate horse racing.

Looking for info on ISCI highway brackets

The previous owner put these on my Spyder but they are way too far forward to provide any benefit for me. I asked ISCI via email two times for instructions on how to adjust and then how to remove them and have received no reply. One day this summer I will put the trike up in the air and remove...

Lamonster tried that when he ran the GL1800 board. It worked reasonably well.

Interesting analysis ... wide variation in home affordability, by state

I'm not. Both Ohio and WVA are economically depressed areas where jobs are scarce and don't pay very much. That leads to lessened demand and the people who do buy can't afford more expensive homes. Western NY State is much the same with a lot of the big, old manufacturing companies having...

SO WHO'S WATCHING 'LOST IN SPACE' REBOOT ON NETFLIX

The original Lost In Space was just possibly the very worst sci-fi programs of the 60's and one of the worst programs of all time. It deserves every negative adjective one can think of to describe it. It ruined the acting careers of virtually everyone who appeared in it. Variety describes the...

More dumb questions from a newbie ....

Don't know about the twin cylinder models but it is definitely necessary on the 1330's if not riding the Spyder for more than two weeks. There are systems that never go to sleep on the newer Spyders and they will drain the battery to the level it will not start if not connected to a battery...

    Small cars

Those replica's were usually based upon the original VW Beetle frame and engine so I am curious why you found its reliability poor? There were a ton of the original TD's running around Tucson when I grew up. The air force people would do a tour in the UK and bring them back.

    Small cars

The first car shown, the American made Elio, is not yet in production nor do its prospects look very good. The Heinkel Kabine was built in Germany and sold in the USA in the 50's as a Messerschmidt. I remember one humorous story where one of the first owners drove it to work and parked face...

    BRP Customer Service Issue

I remember MAPICS but, thankfully, never had to deal with it as a developer. Your comment is right on but there is one other major cause I have seen first hand as well and that is to get corporate money for major software it is usually necessary to roll the "request train" through every major...

NOT TO BE POLITICAL, BUT I REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND

Incorrect. The absence of religion is not religion. And I have yet for an atheist to come to my door trying to sell their beliefs.

    Heat in the "cockpit"

I was wondering about this too. I have a 2016 RTL and even in very warm Arizona do not have anything resembling a heat issue.
