• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New spyder owner, best first mods

:congrats: on the new bike and WELCOME to the spyder world. It's awesome. Mods are a personal issue. I especially like a taller windshield and seat for my first modification. Since your rear-end is sitting on the bike, the stock seat can become uncomfortable really quick. And the...

Started a day early to avoid the "Blizzard"

Good to hear you're in Missouri. Yes, the weather is rather cool especially in light of all the warm weather we've had in the last month or so. The sun should be out tomorrow and that's gonna help a lot. Hope your dad is okay. Travel safe. See you in Cuba.

Started a day early to avoid the "Blizzard"

8 hours straight through...average 55 m.p.h plus. You got to factor in a few or more stops for gas and 30 min. for eats. Probably more like 10 hours. Safe travels. We'll see you also in Cuba this week.

Glad to hear you made it out of the 'weather' in Stanton and had a relatively safe ryde, despite the conditions you had to go through. Our thoughts are toward both of you as you continue your westward trek. We'll see you in Cuba.

    Brand new lady spyder lover!

This is the best description of how I feel when I ride. As dilyles said and I didn't realize it, I was doing all of what she wrote, with the lean (I knew it wasn't as much as a regular 2-wheel), the grip on the legs, and the shift in the weight. The parking lot idea is also a great suggestion...
