• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Winter mods on my wife's F3:

I bought one strip and contacted Harvey (Spyderpops) with some improvements/corrections in his installation instructions. As a very nice gesture, he sent me a second strip. I installed it figuring twice the light was even better! One strip is certainly good enough, though.

Winter mods on my wife's F3:

I did a few things to make her bike a little closer to perfect: 1. Painted a whiter pearl white, including 3 fenders. 2. Removed "Can-Am" emblem and painted silver scoops satin black. 3. Lowered brake pedal. 4. BRP clutch assist kit. 5. SmoothSpyder tensioner. 6. Custom short Madstad...

This is a thread that I started a while ago. Post #18 by me is good info for you. Make sure they print in color for you. http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?88544-Clutch-assist-kit-from-BRP

    Belt Drive

Drive shafts are a trade-off as are most mods. You do get almost maintenance-free operation, but you will have more driveline power loss and have to suffer with the annoying feeling as the rear end lifts every time you accelerate.

    F3 two up shock

Probably too stiff of a ride for a 100 lb lady who always rides solo.

Ordered the Clutch assist kit from BRP

The instructions were vague and some of the parts were hard to reach. Other than that, I guess it wasn't all that bad. Mostly, I don't like anyone messing with our toys!!

2016 exterior drunk light can be retrofit to 2015

Installed ours. VERY bright 5000K color light! Wire is at end of strip and the strip is hardly noticeable when not lite. I routed the wire differently than the instructions suggest and it takes less than half an hour. There's actually room for a second strip if you wanted extreme light.

2016 exterior drunk light can be retrofit to 2015

I think it's a strip. I ordered one and I'll post when it arrives. The LEDs are 5500K (VERY white). I might do HIDS to match the color.

2016 exterior drunk light can be retrofit to 2015

I went back to look at the Spyderpops LEDs that you seemed so certain about and you were absolutely correct. The first time I looked at their pic I only noticed the lights on the bottom of the grill. So, for $70 vs over $200 I'll be ordering from Spyderpops.

2016 exterior drunk light can be retrofit to 2015

The Spyderclops is in a completely different location than the BRP light. The BRP light is just under the front overhang of the drunk (not drunk) lid. i.e. Just a few inches from the BRP emblem on the front of the lid. It appears to look very bright, and, more important to me, it looks well...

2016 exterior drunk light can be retrofit to 2015

If you look through the 2016 F3 pix on the Can-Am site, some are shown with a very bright full width light directly under the front lip of the drunk lid. I contacted my dealer and they did some digging. I was told by them that the light and a 2015 retrofit kit are available for about $220. I'm...

    Thermometer

I'm not "worrying", but I am curious. This is the same thing I posted in the mpg thread yesterday.

    BURNOUT !!!!

I'm going to take credit...........when I left the dealer for a test ride (manual not auto!) they told me to run it hard and enjoy! That's exactly what I did and the black line on the road was left as evidence. This is why I would never buy a demo vehicle. Following the specific break-in...

    Gas Mileage?

On EVERY forum I've been on there is always someone with your response to an mpg question. There is a difference between "worrying" (as you call it) and just plain curious. Some millionaires buy cars with EPA highway ratings of 13 mpg and still wonder about their mpg. I can't imagine that they...

    Thermometer

The thermometer on our F3 is accurate, but very slow to stabilize. It often starts out too high or too low, but after a while it matches the temp shown on my Indian (which is always within a degree of correct) We can ride from a sunny area into a low lying shaded area where my thermo will drop...

Ordered the Clutch assist kit from BRP

My dealer is Mid-South Motoplex in Clarksville, TN 931-368-0237 : Ask for Chad in service BRP Clutch Assist memo# 122791 122791 is all you should have to tell your dealer. With that number they can pull up complete installation instructions and the list of 12 parts. Make sure they print it...

Ordered the Clutch assist kit from BRP

Technically, it wasn't a "kit". I asked my dealer for the clutch assist system and he had to order 12 individual parts. I did think that was odd.

Ordered the Clutch assist kit from BRP

I understand what you're saying about the subjective feel of a clutch. Her entire F3 has been taken apart so that it can be painted pearl white over the winter so I haven't ridden it with the new clutch feel. actually, I hardly ever ride her F3, so I may not even remember how it used to feel. In...
