• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Dialed in and Road Worthy..

Just finished a 2900 mile trip from South MS to Norwich Ct and back... This thing is a road warrior! 700 miles a day was easy on it..lt handled whole tanks of gas at 85 mph like it was nothing...No glitches, no worries, no anything...It was just over 10,000 miles when I left and broke in/dialed...

    why ride a spyder

Depends...... Depends who asks and the way they ask.. If it is a genuine question or someone just being smart.....My answer can range from a honest answer about my back issues and not being able to hold up a 2 wheeler 2 up with gear anymore..... To something a lot simpler and a lot less...

    new owner with riding issues

We UNDERSTAND!! My first 50 miles on my RT coming from 2 wheels was terrifying!! Wife and I also exceed weight limit on our RT just a tad ;-) and found the first twisties ride very intimidating, even curves on a deep south highway had us snaking down the road LOL!..She was working herself to...

Laser Alignment & BajaRon Swaybar Good to Go!

Is that swaybar really that good?? We ride the twisties a lot and probably exceed the Spyder RT weight limit also...I upped the air pressure in the front tires and it helps some but I guess my question is....Does that swaybar and beefier shocks really make that much of a difference in holding...

Helmet Won't Fit In Side Compartment

Spot on! Yep......demographics and risk factor...we live where it is pretty safe and helmets go in the trunk when we are traveling and are either; Somewhere they might get stolen...... Or.... If we are going inside somewhere and it is about to storm....... Other than that, they sit on...

I'm finally done with my Spyder

Sounds like a lemon.... I knew dependability ratings were bad going in....but so far only minor stuff, rear air shock bad, sticking trunk latches, Ect......I was genuinely worried about a computer that has so much control over the unit but so far it has been very beneficial and bug free...

things I would like to see on RT

just a couple of things., Better fuel economy would be nice on trips...and I sure wish there was an existing accessory wire behind that plug on the center of the handlebar, man that would be nice..Come to think of it the standard RT Would be much better with the adjustable handlebar as a stock...

Still haven't wired it.....and may not! I mounted it on the stock location and can see it pretty good while riding.. RT or F3

Same here on a trailer.. I agree with you here...I see no reason whatsoever I couldn' t pull a small trailer with a F3, Plenty strong and stable enough.......IF there is a WILL, there is a WAY....... 👍

Would you recommend RT for single rider?

Depends on how you are gonna want to ride.. My RT serves the purpose perfectly for touring with my wife...But if health issues force my wife to quit riding altogether, I think I will switch to the new F3... I liked riding twisties aggressively on 2 wheels and the RT is a little top heavy for...
