• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

Hey Chris Watch out for those chickens! Actually I'm wondering if you are still using the original CVT belt? If so, did your transmission warning light ever come on? Not original rear tire I assume.

    New handlebars/heated grips

With my Rox riser, which is angled back towards me at about (guessing) 40 degrees, I have to slide my handlebar forward to make it easier to fuel up. I don't think that will be necessary with your wife's Ryker. I'm comfortable with the Rox and I'm sure your wife is happy with her Ryker modification.

    Ryker security on overnight trip

Open the "hood" and put a 5mm bolt in the steering linkage. Looking straight on to front of Ryker it's to the lower front right side of oil filter canister. If the bandits get her rolling it will only be in a straight line. I sure would not use this as the only theft weapon, just a little added...

    Rear tire replacement time

What would be a good balance, speaking PSI, between comfort and even tread wear?

So, who said a Ryker can't be a touring machine?

Isn't running down low on fuel, rough on the fuel pump? On the other hand over filling may be worst. Start at 10:50.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inxsCGcBH1Y I would think this would concern us Ryker owners. Sorry, I got this off track. I'm looking for a small waterproof case for air...

Engine oil capacity differences between 2019 & 2020?

Here's a thought. Maybe the the oil filler tube is .875 longer or is not as far in? on the 2020 Ryker. The part # for the 2019 tube is 420656905. 2020 # ??

    Rear tire replacement time

Sorry no OEM info. But it is good to see something positive with Kenda tires for a change. I've had no problems with mine. I probably only "peeled out" about 4 times now with about 8,000 miles on mine, BUT they were just quick short chirps. My dealer looked at my rear tire and said that probably...

    2 Up Spring Questions

OK, so I spelled tensile wrong. That's what I get for staying up too late watching 5.5 hrs. of The Tour de France. I should have just stated "the properties of the steel used". That would cover just about everything. The spelling was corrected at post #3. Green Tea?

    2 Up Spring Questions

Maybe it's not the dimensions of the springs that make the difference but the type of steel used. Tinsile strength and other properties.

Show Chrome Full Size Brake Pedal ? (lamonstergarage.com)

Probably not, but I hope this will help a fellow Northern Illinoin Ryker ryder (I'm in Boone Co.) https://www.cheapcycleparts.com/oemparts/a/cam/5c2f768f87a8661634626b3e/brake-master-cylinder-pedal-footpegs

2020 Rally Evaporator Purge Solenoid ticking sound - problem?

I told my good (and fast) bicycle riding friend about being undecided about buying an extended Warranty for my Ryker. He's a successful semi retired owner of a construction co. up near Chicago. He said that over the past many years that he has owned the company and owned TONS of equipment he has...

How to tell if wheel nut recall was completed

It's not the "buy" date, but the "build" date that is important. You can find the build date at upper right hand corner of VIN tag. I bought my Rally on July 16, 2019, but the build date is 10/18 (139th model built). I still have the original wheel nuts on it. I do look at them once in a while...

Ryker Handlebar Bolt Broken - how?

Probably will have to use an "Easy out" to get that bolt out. BTW the bolt on my Rally, 10/18 build date. has a BRASS? colored bolt. With a separate washer. I've used 18 lb ft torque to tighten bolt after straightening the handlebars. Maybe there was absolutely no grease on that aluminum tapered...

How to tell if wheel nut recall was completed

On the old nuts ALL the teeth have the same shape. On the new nuts one side of one tooth will be cut at a shallower angle/depth. Probably the best way to spot this is to remove the red safety lock? rings, and look straight on. This picture is from post #54 Thanks Peter. picture does explain it...

New 2020 ryker rally issue - uneven frame?

.3mm = .0118, Yes, I can see that. But in the picture it looks like you're parked on sand. I suggest you park on level concrete and measure from concrete up to the frame near the foot pegs.

Anyone Ever Remove The Tank Cover

WOW!! They turned a 10' job in to a big headache for you. They probably didn't know, but to get to the master cylinder unlock foot peg and slide it to the back. The cylinder moves with it. Anyway check this Youtube video out. It will steer you in the right direction only. I'm quite sure you...
