• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Found this on a Ryker Facebook group

I've been told that here in Illinois it's against the law to have Ape Hangers (wrist) higher than your shoulders. Never would install them so I never checked out if that was true or not.

Weak brakes! Stock Ryker brakes suck - Any other calipers fit?

I'm not trying to know it all (only enough to read manuals) but what I've read on the web is that Dot 5.1 would work great for some serious hard braking.

It's just reflective tape on the fenders, and it's coming off!! Ideas?

Mine started peeling off back in 2020 (2019 Rally) so I designed my own. I didn't want to mess with the electrical connections underneath the fenders or the cost. These are holding up very well. Design your own, make sure you use REFLECTIVE TAPE. I designed and ordered them on...

Ryker 12,000? Mile Transmission Warning - when did it show?

I'm wondering how much odometer variation there is between everyone's Rykers whose had their transmission warning come on. Mine hasn't popped up yet with just under 12,100 miles. What was your mileage?

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

Just finished the 1st ride of '22. (48 miles) Now only 24 miles until I hit the big 12,000 miler. This next time the fuel is low I'll raise the clam shell to check/change the CVT belt, warning will most likely be on by then. I'm not a rubber burner so belt, I expect, to be in pretty good shape...

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

I improved my Rally's quality of life. She was suffering in the late afternoon heat in the shed last summer. So I installed a radiant heat barrier on the inside West wall. The roof was done last year. I might do the south end someday, but there is some shade back there. No attic crawling today...

VSS mode. How common is it?

Just under 12,000 miles, a 2019 Rally, never had an error. STAY OFF THE BRAKE PEDAL!!

    Ryker comfort seat installation.

BEFORE I installed the Comfort Seat I filed the top edges of the square? holes thinking that may ease the entry of the tabs. I think I may have also put some grease on the angle area of the tabs. Still had to be careful with the alignment. Front ones 1st with press in I saw on youtube. Maybe BP...

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

Today I went to "Ace" and picked up 2' of clear tubing, 5/16" ID if you're wondering, and a brass barb, for extending the fuel overflow tube. I used 14" of the 24" tubing. Cost me $4.77 (+tax).

Curious about how Passenger Sensor operates on Ryker?

The "button" is only to lock a passenger seat on or other approved items. The left foot peg, when down, triggers a magnetic switch telling the Ryker to make adjustments accordingly for being "top heavy" with a passenger on board.

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

Installed Backrest I finished installing a backrest with a homemade bracket (looks like it, also) The bracket is made from shelving brackets. I doubled stacked them for increased strength. Glad they do bend somewhat 'cause 90 degrees makes the top of the cushion push to much forward. The...

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

Today I received from T Rex Fabs the Bar End Weights. (on sale as of this date for $30.00 + tax) I went out in 28 degree shed and installed them. I had previously cut, ground, and painted the end handlebar expansions. I weighted them with screws, 17oz total...

    2022 Ryker Hub Threading REVERSED

This is a video on youtube from Shawn Smoaks. He states at 10' that the hub threading is reversed on the 2022 Rykers. The front left side has RIGHT hand threads, and the front right side and rear has LEFT hand thread. He believes this is due to braking force taken into consideration. This is...

Damaged clip on front end - any easy way to fix?

I had a clip break off on my left lower panel. I used a 2 part epoxy to mend it. It worked on the 2nd try, but I'm of course quite cautious while unclipping it. Would a 2 part epoxy work in the area of your concern....don't know. Might be worth a try.

Anyone go from an RT to a Ryker?

Am I correct in thinking that comparing a Ryker to a Rt is like comparing a '32 Ford Coupe to a '68 Camaro. (I'd take either) What's your comparison?

Ryker Rally for long Backcountry Discovery Routes (BDR) trips?

I think the name Rally is misleading. It's not to be used as an ATV. It's not designed to go over rough (back country) terrain. The advertisements I've seen of the Rally's is that they are being used on fairly, not too rough, gravel surfaces, not back country, try to get lost areas. Reminds me...

Ryker 900 exhausts - which one do you think is the quietest?

I like the sound of a deep sounding somewhat quiet muffler....but, if I were to change the sound of my rally I'd look into getting a good stereo 1st.
