• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The cursed 'stuck on' brake light problem.

Still not fixed Since my last post; the part came in but RideNow found another part, in the same circuit defective. I told them to put it back together for now. I have a organized ride I want to go on this weekend. I will bring it in when they get both parts. If they had tried to fix it per...

The cursed 'stuck on' brake light problem.

My cruise tends to not be able to come on when I am going down the road with the brake light stuck on. I have to kick the pedal. The "shave and bend" fixes have been a no go on this one. I had to buy a new battery today as I have been caught one to many times for the battery to live through...

The cursed 'stuck on' brake light problem.

Looks like the solution Stopped in to Ridenow yesterday and Shawn, the service writer has started a warranty claim for the new switch assembly. He will call me when it gets in. It sticks almost all the time now.

    2014 STS Clicking sound

Can attest to the guard thing My 13 STL had the belt guard come loose at about 800 miles. Had a heck of a time figuring it out as it "sprung" back in to place when stopped. it finally got caught in the belt and that finished that. Made a strange ticking sound for quite a while.

The cursed 'stuck on' brake light problem.

Thanks to all I thought it was a common problem. it does sound like there is more than one problem. Ridenow has tried the bend and trim approach. Time for them to just order the parts they should have ordered to start with. I appreciate the feedback. See ya' on the road.

The cursed 'stuck on' brake light problem.

It is not an every time problem, which makes it worse because when you shut the bike off and walk away, you have a 50 / 50 chance that the brake light is on. Ridenow Sports in Phoenix has made 2 attempts at fixing it without success. I am interested in other '13 ST owners (or other models if...

    Dealer in Mesa Area ??????

Just hoping I have my '13 ST at RideNow on Cave Creek in Phoenix currently. I took it in last week to get the brake light problem fixed. Went to pick it up and it wasn't fixed. Good thing I showed it to the service writer. They claim it is ready to pick up tomorrow. We'll see.

Toy hauler Motorhomes / 2 Spyders

re; toy haulers, or not. Yes that is right. The loader we have is made by Springer Industries in North Dakota. It goes by the name of "Triple D Lift and loader." Their web sight is tripledloader.com. Another one out there is made by Rampage. Don't know if they have a trike model but I...

Toy hauler Motorhomes / 2 Spyders

Would like to put my 2 cents in here. As you can see by my "handle", my wife and I are full time RVers. We live in a motorhome. If you don't want to put anything else in a toy hauler garage, a minimum 10 ft preferably a 12 ft garage would probably do it by loading one front end in and one...

    Leader Motorcycle Center Mount

Enlighten me please What is this "center mount". A bar riser? I'm not overjoyed with the fit of my '13 ST.

    overdrive pulley

And another reason for 6 Beside the difference in the engine types, the marketing boys and girls are seeing 6 gears in many motorcycles now-a-days and they don't want to be seen as "behind times". Can't believe that doesn't play a part.

    Missing Saddle Bag Reflector

Just to add my 2 cents. Yeah, I had one fall off also. As the adhesive foam seemed to be still well attached to the reflector, I just got out my trusty bottle of contact cement, cleaned both sides with alcohol applied cement to both sides, let them dry and glued it back on. Even if I had to...

    A Zumo 660 puzzle

Got it streightened out. Want to thank all who posted. Specially Ravseren, I called and they walked me through it. That Zumo sure handles files in a primitive manner but as long as I know how it works, we can comply. We get our first test of the actual file tomorrow. Rainy and gloomy...

    A Zumo 660 puzzle

As many of you know, the '13 ST Ltd's came with a Zumo 660 GPS. Recently, I subscribed to a bike mag that offers GPS routes for download to their subscribers, in the GPX format that the 660 requires. I have downloaded a couple of them to my laptop and have, based on the Zumo instruction...

    Gas mileage 2013 ST

I agree One tank has too many variables to count on. On my '13 STL, I seem to be getting about 37 mpg, 2 up but not riding hard.....

    Brake flush

Unfortunately My personal belief is that there are 2 factors at play. One is that the engineers that worked on this whole project were (are) automotive not motorcycle oriented. I think that is backed up by the systems incorporated on these bikes. The second is simply MONEY. Protect those...

    Airhawk cushion on ST

ditto for me I bought the Medium cruiser after the R was out but I have that one for me and one that just fits the pillion for my wife. We think they are the best thing since canned beer and sliced bread. At 1/3 the cost of a new seat. We use them just the same as akspyderman.

    Bajaron sway bar

Another fan of the bar. Had a shop in Texas install the bar and links as I just don't do the ground crawling like I used to. CAN'T SAY ENOUGH about return on investment in just increased fun in the ride. Just changes the bike all by itself. You won't be sorry.

    A question aside

I have been subscribing to this forum and 2 others since I joined. A couple of weeks ago I suddenly stopped receiving my daily email notifications. I have been away from the computer for over a week now but when I looked at the forum listings, the subscription "button" was switched off on this...
