• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

LIFTS - anybody here have experience with Pitbull Lifts for an RT?

Pitbull lift - I have one and like it a lot. It lifts 32 inches high, can store bike on it, and roll around with bike on it. Very stable, I have not put an extension on it yet, it is stable enough without it.

    front end shake

shaking If it did not shake before tires were changed. Then it is improperly torqued wheels. Loosen them up, shake the wheels a little and start snugging them up a little at a time, then torque to specs. Shake should go away.

sway bar Easyrider If the road is perfectly flat, no dips and no wind, it will handle pretty good. However most roads have dips, cracks, etc. and it will cause the bike to move about because of rocking or body roll. Every time there is a bit of body roll it causes the steering to interact in...

sway bar Roger Rreplace the sway bar asap. It will be a night and day difference of handling all around.I am now able to go around corners close to what I did with my Vulcan or Cavalcade. Tail swing in gone and it does not feel titchy anymore.

    feeling unstable

handling improvement I will also add that the replacement of the sway bar took away all the tail swing on my 2013 RT. Plus it did take care of all the twitchy feeling and dancing around in the wind.

    Riding mountain roads

brake system Just like automobiles, the Spyder has 2 seperate brakes systems in case one fails. That is why you have 2 brake reservoirs. if you lose front or rear brakes the other takes over, only the brake pedal will travel lower.

    Unstable ride feeling........

Baha Ron bar I finally got my 2013 RTSE5 out for a good ride since replacing the stabilizer bar. It hunted around the road. I did a laser alignment last fall when I got it together. LASER WHEEL ALIGNMENT

Buds reset You will only need to do a Buds reset to zero if you change the handle bar position. If you align the wheels to the handle bar setting as it is before making adjustments. Unless for some reason the bars are off center. It will still be zeroed.

    Axle adjusters

To keep axle from changing position If you spray some lube onto the axle shaft washer and nut, it will not change position when tightening.
