• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Push to talk

The PTTB is used to transmit on CB. The intercom is activated by talking into the microphone. It mutes the radio when used. There is an adjustment for the sensitivity of the microphone called VOX.

    Ride-On in RT-622 Trailer Tires

Trailer load control for other than RT-622

I use 2 router pads in my trailer RT622. The pads are about 1/8"thick rubber and keep items from sliding. They work very well. For those who are not familiar with wood woodworking, router pads are used to hold a wood piece from moving when shaping with a router. The pads can be purchased from...

12 volt acc. plus in the rear trunk... question?

I have had the #6 fuse moved to the #7 so the power outlet in the trunk is powered on with the key in the off position on my 2014 Limited. This makes it very easy to plug in the trickle charger.

Another 2014 RT Limited first riding report

Took delivery of my 2014 RT Limited white color two days ago. Yesterday I went for a 150 mile ride with some freeway, twisties and secondary roads. To me the engine has a low growl sound, when shifting up through the gears it sounds like a Ferrari. This motor has lots of torque, it requires...

Something I HATE about the Spyder!

I use Turtle Wax Ice for waxing. It is clear and leaves no white wax residue. It can be used on black plastic parts and gives it a shine. Easy on easy off application. No elbow grease required. It takes me about 1/2 hour to wax my Spyder.

    It's here...

Now that your new ride is here, you will have to wait for the snow to melt.:gaah:

    Battery Tender Pigtail

I use the power outlet in the trunk. I have a plug that attaches to the battery tender. This is much more convenient. For 2013 of 2014 Spyders move the fuse from the "6" to the "7" location to make the outlet hot when the bike is turned off.
