• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I polished my Spyder today.

    I would not recommend using "dish soap" for washing your Spyder or vehicles. It will dull the finish. Be sure to use a "car wash" soap.

    Another Newbee - some general questions

    Congrats on the new machine! Remember to upshift at 4500 or higher rpms. The engine is designed to run at high rpms. The power starts to come on at 4500 rpms and higher. The shifts will be quicker and smoother at higher rpms. The Bajaron sway bar will help greatly.

    I use the trunk power outlet connection for my battery tender. Simple and very easy to use.

    The part of the trailer tongue that attaches to the ball may be loose. Try tightening it some and then hook the trailer to the hitch ball. Try lifting the trailer tongue when hitched and feel if it is loose or rattles.

    Corbin Heated Seat (HELP!)

    I have a Corbin seat with the seat heaters. Included with the seat were instructions for the connection for the seat heaters. It connects in the front fuse panel. Go to the Corbin website and look for the installation instructions or give them a call.

    Need a little help & advice about my 2014 RT Limited, Please!

    The 14 has an alternator. It has a much larger charging capacity than the old magneto. The lights you had installed are probably LED's. They use very little current. Not sure why the need for a second battery.
