• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Congrats on the new machine!:2thumbs: The power band on the Rotax is different than the Wing. Shift at higher rpms, over 4000 rpms. The higher the revs the smoother and quicker the gear shifts are. The engine loves to rev. Shifting up too soon will lug the motor and could damage the clutch.

    Yes you should hear the GPS voice commands thru the headsets or the speakers. If you do not hear the GPS, the entertainment harness is connected to the wrong jack in the radio. That is what happened with my 2013 Limited. It all works perfectly now!

    When you get it open, you may want to remove the latch pin. That is what I did with my Corbin seat. It stays closed without the latch pin.

    Giving the RT a Good Wash

    Be sure to use car wash soap not dish soap. I try not to use the hose around the handlebars and the instrument cluster. For waxing I use Turtle wax "Ice". It can be applied to the plastic parts and leaves a shine without any wax residue. It works great!

    I am curious about excessive brake dust

    Brake dust from disk brakes is just the nature of them. Look at car wheels and you will notice that the front wheels have brake dust on them. Especially if the owner has not cleaned them. So far no one has invented dustless brakes.
