• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Ft. Myers Ryders?

Hello, I'm new to the area (South Ft. Myers) and I would like to meet up for some rydes! I could not locate a local club so far. Also, I am wondering if advice could be given as to where I might store my 5.5 x 10-foot trailer at a reasonable price. Thanks! Neal Perkins

    U-Ship Advice

OK, thanks, I'll wait. The notice said I had until tomorrow to accept. Perhaps I can go ahead and decline it now. Yes, I would rather ride it down. I've done it three times on a Goldwing. It was one long, enjoyable day at 803 miles. But...I'm older now and I need to drive back with wife and...

    U-Ship Advice

I've already had a guy 'accept' my bid which was above the average price suggested. The first communication is him asking if I would pay more. Hmm, I'm not liking that. Why'd he accept it if he wants/needs more? I'm thinking 'red-flag' on this deal. DOT registered...Good suggestion! Thanks.

    U-Ship Advice

Guys, I've received a good quote to transport my F3L to Florida. I've not used them before (and I have NOT YET accepted the bid) What suggestions for things to watch for might you have? Any special preparations, etc? Thanks!

YOU DA MAN!! Bingo! I did not know about the polarity issue. It's a wonder any of my other LEDs work! Thank you so much!

Electrical issue w/ New LaMonster Bright Ryder

These lights have to be defective but, this is weird. First, I tested the unit across the battery terminals and no problem. I had a light there before (sorta yellow or warmer and I didn't like it) so, I peeled it off and used the same wiring (checked with a volt meter). No light...what? Back to...

    Motorcycles don't wave back.

Marty, it's a game and here's how you play. You 'guess' which of the cyclists will wave back. It's a learned skill and you'll get pretty good at it. Every time you're right, wave or no wave, you win a point! For example, if it is a single Harley, you'll probably get a wave...two or more not so...

    ECU Flash---Who has ORDERED YET?

ECU Removal Process OK, I just want to confirm that this is the ECU...I think it is? Next, one bolt is out but accessing the other two, especially the top one looks tough. Does that support type, large bracket need to be loosened? And, the connectors for the wiring harnesses...it looks...

    ECU Flash---Who has ORDERED YET?

So, I am finally about to order the ECU flash as I've procrastinated as long as I can...And, I see some additional commentary that spawns these questions. I have a cat delete which I removed because it was interfering with my hearing my music (I still have it.) Question: How much of the...

    Signal Light Hyper-Flashing

So, I had a few issues with hyper flash which I repaired by the reset shown by LaMonster but last time I decided I liked the hyper flash better. The flash seems more ‘insistent’ and noticeable. The first flash also appears more quickly. Problem solved.

    Bad battery...what brand is recommended?

Oh, don't worry, I tried that. They said I had to bring the bike in...trailering it? for 170 miles and they had to remove it and then CanAm would 'give' me a free battery...plus the one hour of labor. CanAm is not real strong on warranty work (understatement). I spent a lot of money on...

    Bad battery...what brand is recommended?

I ordered the Interstate one. I'd kick myself if I ordered another Yuasa and it turned out badly as well. Is there a 'trick of the trade' to change the battery and maintain the Sypder's settings? Thanks for all the help guys!

    Bad battery...what brand is recommended?

Yes always on a tender and showing green. Now it won’t take a charge. Guys, thanks for the help.

    Bad battery...what brand is recommended?

Quick question please: I thought I heard my dealer tell me the battery was a YPX24HL...could that have been a YTX24HL? (I have the bike parked off-site for the winter). Thanks!

    Bad battery...what brand is recommended?

It’s a YUASA. I’ve only had one and it’s bad, dunno.

    Bad battery...what brand is recommended?

So I have an 11-month old 2016 Spyder F3T with a bad battery. The dealer will pay for a new battery but I pay about $100 for labor and the dealer trip is 170 miles. So, I'm going to buy and change it myself. What brand(s) are yielding the best results? Thanks!

Battery Tender On & Green but not charged

That makes sense. I'll check that out. After a two hour ride the battery said it was 85% charged. Does that sound about right?

Battery Tender On & Green but not charged

I decided to go out for the season's first ride, the battery tender was showing GREEN but, there was an insufficient charge to turn the engine over. Weird. That's never happened on any bike. Has this ever happened to you? If so, what was the cause? BTW, the battery connections seem tight. Thanks!
