• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

break in and sweet spot As I get more miles I constantly get the bike to shift cleaner or less clunky. This is a combination of backing off the throttle slightly like a clutched bike and finding a sweet spot in the RPM range. For me any shifting around 3K is very quiet and less clunky. But...

    Radar detector

scoop on Laser Hi Mike, wanted to share some info on laser radar. First, the officer has to have an open window and be stationary when in use. Kind of like holding a camera with a narrow view. According to my law enforcement friend it takes training and practice. Second my detector detects...

    Radar detector

Same one I use I have used this for about 6 years and I put one on each bike I own. Mine is mounted under the Tupperware on my RT and now my F3L. It has Laser Jamming options but after 6 years of use I have only jammed Laser Radar twice. Both times I wasn't speeding and the perplexed look on...

3 baffels Hi Dray, I found my combination for sport and quite when needed. Cat delete with a resonator, three in line baffles with an open after market exhaust.. Really nice rumble cackle for deceleration. Pretty quiet down low and not too loud on top. I rode with some Harley's today and I...

    cat delete negatives?

slow day, I'll bite Can ANYONE show me supporting test data that shows any increase in performance anywhere across the entire rpm range that a cat delete pipe with or without a baffle nets any measurable gains? ALL of my exhaust configuration testing has shown that there is hesitation and power...

    Cannonball vs RDL - Images

Impressive RDL look I come from the sport bike world so my opinion on comfortable is easily influenced. As I study the RDL it appears the passenger is getting reduced seating area especially with the drivers backrest in place. There has been comments on the forum about the F3L's tight...

Ultimate versus Corbin versus Coast to Coast Seats for F3L

Cannon Ball seat review First, RDL is booked into September and requires down time. Second, even if my bike was fitted with a Lazy Boy recliner I would still squirm in the seat of anything after 3 plus hours of riding. 1. The cannon Ball seat gave me two great seats in one. The stock 2016 F3L...

Easiest Way to Lower Brake Pedal on F3-T?

Spot on. Did the same This mod only cost me the price of the 1/2 repair nut coupler. 1. the rod is basically 1/2 diameter and hollow in the center. It threads well with a 1/2 X16 die. 2. I measured with the rod off to figure out how much to cut out. But I threaded both the cuts ends with the...

Are there any different sprocket sizes that work?

Cost? Hi Larry, can you break down the cost, sprockets vs. flash. I believe you told me this is also a belt? perhaps you can sell your lower geared sprocket set up to the poster? To get about a 20% power increase with the flash and the powerful / quick lower gearing, your RT should be the...

    1330 Performance Upgrades

This information is correct with a twist. The RT & F3 base will default back out of that mode if the handle bars turn more than 3 degrees while on the dyno. The latest F3S can be put into that mode through the dash options but is still sensitive to the 3 degree handle bar movement. The Daytona...

    F3 Limited Rear Shock

What year limited??? I have a 2016 F3 limited that is a manual fill air bag. There was a change over to the RT self filling style after my year? I put a stage 4 Elka in back. It took about an hour to switch it out. Bar far, the front Elka stage 2 shocks made the biggest improvement. The stage 4...

    Top Speed

Things learned from ECU testing Any 1330 Spyder with the 79 tooth sprocket, RT, F3 Base, current F3L have overlapping layers of ECU restrictions that start at EXACTLY 95 mph. This is when Can-am starts to roll the throttle butterflies closed based on a number of factors related to gear and...

Wanting a great rear shock for the 2015 F3 T.

Talked with Elka rep I have the same request for mostly solo but want to be comfortable when riding two up. Here is what Elka said would work best for my situation. Stage two up front allows for some adjustment. I went with touring set up even though I ride kind of hard. The thinking is out of...

    How to remove lettering

Heat gun You might be able to use a hair dryer on low fan and high heat? I bought a cheap heat gun from Harbor Freight. Once the whole sticker is hot it peals off really easy when you get the first corner up. I follow up with goo-off and a soft rag to remove glue debris. Then I wax the affected...

    Monster Fuel Injection ECU Flash

Suggest marking "OUT" side of ECU When you hold an ECU the logical way it looks to be installed is backwards. I suggest marking the ECU with a marker. Remember to allow a full tank of gas for the full effects of the flash to take hold. Then go out in 3rd gear at 4000 rpm and hold it open to...
