• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Back pain - Ergonomic issue with my F3L

I checked BRP's install instructions for the short reach handlebar. They recommend having the dealer do it. Is this something people do themselves, DIY. I suppose the main issue is torquing, provided of course everything is in the right place and alignment is good.

Back pain - Ergonomic issue with my F3L

Hi all, I bought and installed the BRP backrest. Not cheap. I went out for a ride and could feel an immediate difference. The backrest allows me to adopt a straighter, more upright, and closer position. The upper back muscles are not activated and I feel more relaxed. At least now I know...

Talk me into buying a Spyder - A few reservations

Just like many on this site, I am older and maybe I could be your father. it took me a long time to make the move to three wheels but now that I have, I wouldn't go back. The Spyder is everything a motorcycle is, except leaning into curves. Buy the Spyder to spend quality time with your...

Back pain - Ergonomic issue with my F3L

Thank you all for your comments and advice. It seems I may need a shorter reach. I bought the backrest yesterday, I will install it and see how it goes. I figured it can't be a negative even if it does not fix the issue. Changing to the shorter reach Ufit bars seem to be quite expensive...

Back pain - Ergonomic issue with my F3L

Hello, I need help to figure out what I need to change ergonomically in my F3L setup to eliminate my back pain. I am not a health professional so I'm not sure of the name of the body part but it's the muscle(s) between the shoulder blades, maybe called the rhomboids. It starts after about one...

    Rotator cuff surgery

Never had rotator but crashed my bike in 2008, broke five ribs and collarbone. I hit the gym the day my doctor I could and never looked back. +1 on doing as much rehab as you can, at the facility and at home. I'm a big fan on weight training so I would start as soon as my doctor told me it's...

    Which F3 Limited Windshield?

+1 I had one of these on a previous bike and when I bought the F3L I figured I would try it on before spending money on a new windscreen. I really like it. I'm 5'10'' as well. I usually go speed limit 65 mph / 100 kph. I have an Arai X Corsair and it works really well. I had the V version...

What do you do with the antenna?

Thanks. That is actually a good idea as I may have a small antenna from a handheld VHF I don’t use.

What would you choose? Spyder vs Ryker

For me no question, Spyder F3. Long distance, power, etc. But if money was an issue and wanted to go from two to three wheels, then the Ryker.

What do you do with the antenna?

I have a 2018 F3L. I don't use the radio. The antenna is not used. It's actually in the way when I put a cover over the Spyder. It doesn't look like it can be removed without leaving a metal connection open to weather and it doesn't look like it could be twisted down and stowed. Has anyone...

Why Does My Heart Rate Go So High Riding - UPDATE - solved!

I think the reading is wrong. I have a Garmin Fenix 5 that I wear all the time. If I train, I wear a chest strap. Been wearing those since 1988. I know and understand my HR. I'm 65 and my resting is 48. It usually takes me 10 minutes on a bicycle ride to get it past 110. I find cold and...

    Ryker Inventory/Production

My MO is never chase a "thing", be it the dream house, dream car, dream bike. There will always be more tomorrow. If you need to sell your bike first, then wait until you sell it. Now, if it was the woman of your dreams, that's obviously different ;)

    What to buy???? F3T or F3Limited ????????

I have a Limited and love the additional top case storage. Use it very ride. Not sure a full face helmet fits in the side cases. I was hesitating as well when I bought mine and what convinced me is the resale value of mods. If you build up your T to be an L, you won't recoup your money ans...

Insurance time again - So I'm shopping around!

If you are in ON as in Ontario, try Riders Plus, they quote from Intact and Echelon. I pay 1500$ per year for my 2018 F3L. That is a bit more than my previous bike a BMW R1200R. Good luck
