• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I’m 5”6 going to buy F3 Is stock F3 handlebar adjustable?

Personally I would start with the short reach bar. I think this is the minimum adjustment you will need. You may need more but it’s a good start. I read on this forum somewhere that the rox riser may be difficult to lock in place and may wiggle a bit.

    Wind and Trucks

Totally agree. Because of the 3-wheel design, the bike does not lean with the wind, it stays flat, and it is just the rider being tossed around. Similar to curves where on a 2-wheel both the bike and rider lean into the curve whereas on a Spyder you need to brace yourself into the curve...

I’m 5”6 going to buy F3 Is stock F3 handlebar adjustable?

I have an F3L so maybe my setup is not the same as yours. I am 5'10'' and I'm usually off the rack for clothes. So I assume my proportions are quite standard. When I bought my F3L, it came with the stock reach. I did develop a sore back with this setup. I recently changed to the short reach...

Back pain - Ergonomic issue with my F3L

I need to clarify something. I said a few times that the short reach handlebars were expensive. When I bought mine, I realized there were two options. The expensive option and the less expensive option. The expensive option is the chrome version. The black coated version is about 1/3 of the...

Back pain - Ergonomic issue with my F3L

I'm sort of doing the same thing. I just try to touch the backrest and use it as a guide to how far back I can go. I try to keep my back relaxed and the arms stretched just enough that the back muscles are not activated. So far it's working.

F4 Customs – Happy but disappointed

I bought a F4 Customs windshield for my F3L last week. I received it and installed it. When I removed the cling wrap, I noticed it was scratched. Based on how I manipulated and installed it I can’t believe I did this myself. Obviously, I can’t prove it. So it’s a big conundrum. The...

    F4 Customs vs Madstad

In the infamous windshield debate of F4 Customs vs Madstad or other brands, I am currently leaning towards F4 Customs although I could prefer the adjustability of the Madstad. The reason I am leaning towards the F4 Customs is the availability of the Air Wings for the F4. Is there anything else...

    Sticker Shock!

40 years ago, I left my helmet attached to my bike just my the strap loop. When I came back, someone had stolen my helmet by cutting the strap. I was "lucky" we had no helmet laws in Canada at the time so I could ride back home without an helmet. I never leave my helmet on my bike. I have...

    F3 trailer loading issues

My trailer has a four feet gate. I bought a 2X10 X 8 feet, cut it into three pieces of 32 inches each, added two 3-inch screws to each, spaced just enough to clear the tubing up and down, the screws keep the pieces of wood from slipping down or up. Works just fine. I took the idea from...

BRP "Sytstem" resulting in lost customer

Don't get me started on BMW's Before my 2018 F3L, I had a BMW R1200R. Great bike. I bought it at the largest motorrad dealer in Toronto. I took it in to have them reset the computer for a service minder. Doing so, they wiped out the whole computer and I had to wait two weeks for Germany to...
